Hi Rockmaker!
Great to see "The Door" still holding strong at the top, even if it’s showing a bit of decline for me after all these weeks. It's definitely a standout track. "Houdini" making it to the top 10 is fantastic; the Steve Miller Band sample works brilliantly, and Em getting the seal of approval from Steve Miller himself is a big win.
The new peaks for "A Bar Song" (inside the top 10), "Slow It Down", "These Walls", "Belong Together", and "Stargazing" are great to see. Personal highlight from the top 40 is the huge gain for "Honey Boy." It’s currently my front-runner for Song of the Summer this year. We'll see if it holds up until the first week of September, which I’m considering the end of summer this year, as I’ll be traveling to Italy then. Also, the debut for "Please Please Please" is fantastic, serving as a great follow-up to the summer smash "Espresso."
Below the top 40, the debuts for "Genesis.", "Jump", "Without You", "Feelings Don't Lie", and especially "KARMA" are fantastic. I can see "KARMA" being another strong contender for the Song of the Summer. There are so many potential summer smashes this year that I’ve started making playlists for Songs of the Summer on Spotify.
Great chart as usual!
Take care, my friend.
