FOR WEEK ENDING JULY 19, 2025
Rockmaker’s Spotlight | This week, "What I Want" claims the #1 spot, marking the second chart-topper for Morgan Wallen and Tate McRae. The soundtrack from Netflix’s Kpop Demon Hunters climbs to #8 with "Golden," while JIN from BTS secures his first Top Ten with "Don't Say You Love Me." 64 years after its recording, "Pretty Little Baby" debuts on Rockmaker, fueled by its TikTok virality. The song never matched the success of Connie Francis, who shone with #1 hits like "Who's Sorry Now," "Carolina Moon," "Stupid Cupid," "My Happiness," and "Everybody's Somebody's Fool." On July 16, 2025, the unforgettable superstar of the ‘50s and ‘60s, Connie Francis, passed away at 87, leaving behind a voice that defined generations. |

Hi Rockmaker!
Nice to see "What I Want" at the top, probably the more tolerable Morgan Wallen song for me. "Golden" took a while for me to grow, but I like it now. So I approve of it getting the top 10 jump, although I have not seen KPop Demon Hunters yet, I am currently watching Quarterback on Netflix, great documentary About NFL Players inside and outside the NFL field. Elsewhere, I like the new Peaks for "Espresso Macchiato", "On My Mind" (will it get higher because of the Album next week?), "All Gas No Brakes" and "The One.". And I like the debuts for "Pretty Little Baby" (RIP Connie Francis) and "Daisies" (Yes, I like that one, surprisingly enough).
Below the top 40, I like the big gains for "More To Lose" (Shame "Easy Lover" is not doing well in your Chart), "The Sofa" and "Zombie Lady" (Weird that this got a huge jump, not "The First Time", but not complaining, like both Songs) and the debuts for "Jump", "No Time To Talk" (very overhated) and "Eternity".
Also "A Me Mi Piace" gaining, yes please! Hope it keeps on climbing!
Great chart as usual!
Take care.
