Hey Sergej!

The Kolors are back at number one, right where they always belonged. Lana Del Rey is trying to do the same with "First Light," but "Summer Funk" is hitting like a hurricane and might steal the crown next week.

Are we all sure "First Light" isn’t from the soundtrack of some new James Bond movie?

On the other hand, "Magnetic" and "Sorry Scusa Lo Siento" are keeping up strong. "Talk To You" has been neutralized, while "Self Aware" just took a stumble.

I’m really excited about the big jump "Risk It All" made — hopefully it finally cracks the Top Ten this time. We should give "Potential" another shot too… it’s got a lot of potential :)

"Buona Domenica" is the perfect summer vibe. I love the new peaks from "Hit the Wall," "Comuni Immortali," "Pure Love," "boy you turn me," "The Way We Touch," and "Moonlight." Also glad to see "Dracula," "silent treatment," "New Religion," and "Body Talk" getting a second chance. "Don’t Worry" just refuses to die.

Wow! "The Power of Love" is back on SPC and I just noticed! You’ll have to tell me why this old song has come back to life. It’s one of my all-time favorite 80s tracks — hearing it gives me such nostalgia.

Welcome back "Billie Jean" to the Top 40! Have you gone to see the Michael Jackson biopic in theaters yet?

It makes me sad to see "Boston," "Loving Life Again," "REGARDE!," and "Need Your Love" get kicked out of SPC.

It’s cool to see the debuts of "End of an Era" and "The Cure" on SPC. "Save Me Tonight" (JLo’s comeback?) and Maisie Peters’ songs, especially "Questions," are standing out too.

Among the new Italian tracks, "Buon Vento," "Flamenco Paranoia," "Heaven On Your Mind," and "Muscle Memory" really caught my attention. I have mixed feelings about "Dai Dai" — it’s fun, but it sounds like Shakira hasn’t changed her style in thirty years. She still sounds exactly the same.

Finally, I’m curious what language "Puerto-Rico" was sung in.

I’m really happy you had such a great birthday and that you liked the Dan the Bear gift. Hope you have a fantastic week ahead!

And as the legendary Casey Kasem used to say: “Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars.” :D

Hey Rockmaker!

Thank you so much for another amazing comment! 😄

Haha, yes — The Kolors are back at number one where they belong! But I agree, “Summer Funk” is coming in strong and could definitely shake things up next week. Lana Del Rey’s “First Light” really does have that cinematic James Bond soundtrack feeling to it, now that you mention it — amazing how it is only for a Bond video game, not a movie. Although Lana did sent a track for the Bond movie Spectre eleven years ago, the song called "24" (which is on her 2015 "Honeymoon" album), which they rejected for Sam Smith's "Writing's On The Wall". The more you know.

Glad to see you’re enjoying tracks like “Buona Domenica,” “Hit the Wall,” “Comuni Immortali,” “Pure Love,” “boy you turn me,” “The Way We Touch,” and “Moonlight” climbing too. And yes, “Don’t Worry” really refuses to disappear — it just keeps hanging on somehow! 😆

I’m also happy “Risk It All” finally made such a huge jump. Hopefully this time it can break into the Top 10! And haha, I definitely agree that “Potential” deserves another chance — it still has a lot of potential 😄

“The Power of Love” came back to SPC because I listened to a couple of old-school radio shows and oldie radio stations recently, and hearing it again reminded me how amazing that song is. It completely pulled me back in, so it had to return to the chart! Such a timeless classic.

As for the Michael Jackson biopic — I actually haven’t seen it yet, but I definitely plan to watch it once it comes out on streaming. Looking forward to it!

“Puerto-Rico” was sung in the Kazakh language (with a bit of English mixed in too). I discovered the song during my Kazakhstan trip while visiting the music fountain in the park, and it instantly caught my attention. It became a really nice memory from the trip.

I’m glad you liked the new debuts too! There’s been a lot of fun new music lately, especially from Italy. I get what you mean about “Dai Dai” — fun song, but very classic Shakira style for sure. Also, I think that it is a better World Cup song than the Jelly Roll song, although the Jessie Reyez & Elyanna collab is also fun too. 😄

And thank you again for the birthday wishes! I really had a fantastic birthday, and yes, I absolutely loved the Dan the Bear gift 🐻

Hope you have an amazing week too!

And what a perfect Casey Kasem (Once a legend, always a legend) quote to end with:
“Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars.” 🌟
