GV's Weekly 50

Post Malone and Swae Lee holds on at #1 for a second week while Halsey (with Juice WRLD) and Ava Max have a "sweet" debut in the Top 10

Post Malone and Swae Lee's lead single from the SpiderMan: Into The SpiderVerse soundtrack "Sunflower" narrowly stays at #1 for a second week, knocking off any potentials again for Panic! At The Disco's "High Hopes" to take its 10th week at #1. Sunflower's second week at #1 was helped by the release of its second music video which featured footage of their recording for the song and its rise to the Top 3 at the Billboard Hot 100 and the possibility of hitting #1 after the first of two new debuts to the Top 10 has taken its time to the top which is...

...Halsey's "Without Me"! Her recent single debuts at the Top 10 at #7, which marks Halsey's 3rd Top 10 in the Weekly 50, first being a feature on The Chainsmokers' hit single "Closer" which peaked at #1 at October 2016 and the most recent being "Alone" featuring Big Sean and Stefflon Don which peaked at #4. Without Me's debut helped by its rise to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the release of its official remix featuring Juice WRLD, which spends its 3rd week at #3 with his hit single "Lucid Dreams".

New to the music industry scene, Ava Max gets her first Top 10 with the second debut in the Top 10 with her psychotic (no pun intended) single "Sweet But Psycho", helped by the steady rise also in the Billboard Hot 100. Elsewhere in the Top 10, Panic! At The Disco's "Say Amen (Saturday Night" achieves a new peak of #4, after slowly becoming a sleeper hit. Before November, it originally peaked at April at #16 before it re-emerged and it was boosted by the popularity of High Hopes. Ariana Grande also experiences new peak as "thank u, next" moves to a new peak of #5, likewise Marshmello and Bastille retreats to #6 with their single "Happier". Also a switch-up happened at the Top 10 with Gucci Mane, Bruno Mars, Kodak Black's "Wake Up In The Sky" and Benny Blanco, Juice WRLD, and Brendon Urie's "Roses" switching positions in the Top 10.

Aside from Without Me and Sweet But Psycho, some songs also debuted around the Top 50, with some being Ella Mai's "Easy" at #18, Conan Gray with his bitter anthem "Crush Culture" at #38, Ellie Goulding, Diplo, and Swae Lee with their song "Close To Me" at #40, and longevity hit by Daniel Caesar and H.E.R which is the "Best Part" at #44.
