GV's Weekly 50

Post Malone & Swae Lee shines back for a 4th week as 11 songs from Ariana Grande's "thank u, next" are in the Top 50 with major debuts from Lil Peep, ILoveMakonnen, and Fall Out Boy

Post Malone and Swae Lee leads the Weekly Top 50 for a 4th non-consecutive week with "Sunflower" after leading the list for the first three weeks of 2019 before falling to Panic! At The Disco's "High Hopes" in which spent 3 more weeks at #1 (and for this weeks falls at #2 behind Sunflower). As mentioned before, this was Post Malone's 3rd #1 after his own "rockstar" with 21 Savage leading in October 2017, and his feature alongside Khalid and SZA for Lorde's "Homemade Dynamite" in which led the list in January 2018. This is Swae Lee's 1st #1 individually, as he reached as high as #2 with "Black Beatles" as part of Rae Sremmurd that featured Gucci Mane in November 2016.

Ariana Grande takes all but one of the catalogue of her recent album "thank u, next" that was released last week to be part of this week's Top 50. The highest of the songs that features Ariana with is an album cut from the album and a potential single from it "NASA" which skyrocketed at #7. She achieved three songs in the Top 10 with the aforminented NASA at #7, "7 rings" rising to #8, and "break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored" making a splash at #9. This is the entire list of the songs that debuted/re-entered for this week:

#7 - NASA (NEW ENTRY)

#8 - 7 rings (rose from #9, new peak)

#9 - break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored (NEW ENTRY)

#14 - thank u, next (rose from #15)

#17 - needy (NEW ENTRY)

#20 - bloodline (NEW ENTRY)

#25 - bad idea (NEW ENTRY)

#32 - make up (NEW ENTRY)

#36 - breathin' (down from #31, from Sweetener)

#40 - fake smile (NEW ENTRY)

#41 - ghostin (NEW ENTRY)

#46 - fake smile (NEW ENTRY)

#47 - imagine (RE-ENTRY)

Elsewhere, the entire Top 5 had a major shake-up, led by Lauv and Julia Michaels jumping to the Top 3 with "There's No Way", Bazzi and Camila Cabello returning to the Top 5 with "Beautiful" at #4, and 21 Savage (with some help from J. Cole) rises to the Top 5 with "a lot", in which achieves his first Top 5 as a lead artist (he got a trip there before with being the featured act for the aformentioned "rockstar" by Post Malone), and J. Cole's 2nd after getting a Hot Shot Debut at #1 in May 2018 with "ATM". Likewise, Ava Max's "Sweet But Psycho" trips down to #6 and Benny Blanco, Juice WRLD, and Brendon Urie's "Roses" narrowly sticked to the Top 10 at #10. This marks the first time in weeks that either Juice WRLD and/or Brendon Urie didn't have 3 songs in Top 10.

Other than Ariana Grande, notable debuts made by Lil Peep, ILoveMakonnen, and Fall Out Boy with "I've Been Waiting" debuting at #19 with it becoming the first collaboration of the three and the first appearance of Fall Out Boy in the Weekly Top 50 since last year with "The Last Of The Real Ones".
