Waffle's Current Favourites - Week of February 8, 2025

This is the first week of the year where 2025 music is starting to arrive in full force. For one, it's been a hot minute since we've had a good ol' #1 debut,  so naturally, Ava Max is here to change that with "Lost Your Faith" breaking through to the very top spot. This becomes her 5th #1 debut and 18th #1 overall - wowzers. Will it stick around? We will have to find out, but for now, this pushes all the Wicked songs down a couple spots - "What Is This Feeling?" down off the #1 to #2, "Defying Gravity" hanging onto #3, and "The Wizard And I" falling back to #4. Finally, we have Sabrina Carpenter's "Juno" at #5 - and just as it seemed like it was starting to finally fade away, expect this one to actually make a possible rebound in the coming weeks thanks to the deluxe album release.

We have 2 other debuts this week, and just like the new #1, both of these actually also bypassed Bubbling Under: "ATTITUDE" by IVE at #13, and "Abracadabra" by Lady Gaga at #16.
