Chartbreakers:
The Weeknd remains at no.1 yet again with ‘Blinding Lights’. It now has been at number 1 for 11 non consecutive weeks, 7 of those weeks in 2020. Meanwhile Dua Lipa remains the closest competitor at number 2 with ‘Physical’. OneRepublic, Ellie Goulding and Rita Ora all get top 10 new entries.
The Weeknd will continue to dominate the charts in 2020 as he releases his new album “After hours”. If his album tracks are just as good as his first 3 releases (2 number 1’s and 1 number 2), then he could have multiple new entries on next week’s chart.
Not surprisingly, there are not many releases this week. I predict that there will be less single releases and delayed album releases. This is only due to probable cancelled video release dates and cancellations of promotion and interviews. Expect many releases with no videos, or just vertical videos only. Strange times lie ahead...
There could be new entries next week by Mel C, Arlissa, John Legend, Hayley Williams, Lauren Jauregui & Tinie ft Not3s.

Hi Menelaus! Hope you are safe and well. Where are u from? Im in the UK. Lol...i just love to bop to that track, love the 80s vibe and everytime it gets knocked off, it keeps coming back to number 1. The Weeknd could get knocked off by himself next week as his album (After hours) is out today and I reckon its going to be a classic! I have been playing multiple Lauv and Grimes tracks, hence why they are the top 2 albums of the past week. Grimes is brilliant, only just discovered her songs. Look out for domination of next weeks chart with the Weeknd!

Hi Brandy, thanks for the comment. Yes, the weeknd is not a stranger of chart domination, he spent 9 weeks at no.1 with starboy a few years back on my chart. Its cool that u like the song 'Canada' just outside my chart at the moment. I can definitely say that the Weeknd will have quite a few new entries on the chart later this week. His album is great. Yes, Dua Lipa's release is likely to dominate too. Let me check out your chart

I love that 'Blinding Lights' continues its incredible run at #1, along with 'Delete Forever' jumping into the Top 10 after last week's debut, as well as the re-entry for 'Lose You To Love Me'.
Nice chart once again!

Hey Zack! I can't believe that you like Blinding Lights so much! Anyways, I love that you have Grimes up there in your top 10 and all the Lauv tracks in your chart. However, I really can't wait for a brand new number 1! I hope you're doing well and great chart once again mate.
