The Biggest Songs Of The Week

Meat Loaf takes the number 1 spot this week after confirmation of his death earlier this week. His epic huge UK no.1 single from 1993 “I’d do anything for love” beats a whole pack of new entries to take the pole position.

The collab from Griff & Sigrid enters at no.2 with “Head on fire”, meanwhile Lana Del Rey comes in straight at no.3 with “Watercolor eyes”. Holly Humberstone has her biggest hit on my chart entering at no.4 with “London Is Lonely”. Meanwhile, The Weeknd holds onto the top spot of the album charts with “Dawn FM” for a 3rd consecutive week holding off stiff competition from Aurora who enters at no.2.

Next week, there is a duet from Charli XCX & Rina Sawayama which could do well. Also expect potential top 40 new entries next week from Tove Lo, Ella Mai, The Chainsmokers, Foxes, Grimes & LEON.

Hi! Nice to see Dawn FM still as your no.1 album, it's such a strong release to start the year!
As for the songs, I liked the debuts for "Melody" and "Light Switch", and so sad to see "I Heard You're Married" and "Love It When You Hate Me" dropped out that fast...
For next week I wish to see the Charli XCX & Rina Sawayama collaboration, and also maybe The Chainsmokers.
Great chart, and check out mine!

Hey Amit,

yes The Weeknds album is pretty strong and may stick around in the top 5 for a long time (and no.1). Im afraid there were too many new songs that impacted my chart last week so some of album tracks from The Weeknd had to fall. Charli XCX and Rina wil debut somewhere in my top 40, but the chainsmokers are likely to miss out as it just hasnt been that catchy for me. Will check out your chart

Hi Zack!

Nice to see Meat Loaf getting to #1, as well as having two other classic songs from him charting here!
I also like the debuts for "Head On Fire", "London Is Lonely", "Melody", "Light Switch" and "Act Of Love".

Great chart!

Hie buddy how have you been? Myself I'm better .

I didn't know Meat Loaf at all but sad news indeed.

Im so happy to see that there's lots of movements. Like seeing Sigrid settling for a second position. Not suprised to see Lana behind for the soundtrack...fka twigs slip to #8 but glad still in the top 10. thanks for the recommendation though fka twigs didn't know her at all it's sounds like alternative r&b the one with Daniel Caesar and Rema were my favorites too i should give it more listening. But overall it's great dark r&b something normani would fit as well.like the entries of Light up this is a fair comeback from Charlie Puth Puth he's very  consistent as an artist the industry is not easy to be in top 100 matters a lot some don't even sell.Glad for Lost Frequencies gaining entering top 10 soon?

Liked the REENTRY of X .She's doing incredible as an independent artist. 333 has gained  40million streams + on spotify. X video incredibly beautiful crafted everything choreography my dream collaboration with Normani .Iffy already dropping  its a fair track.. did you hear the rumours that he's being accused of rapping that she drugged sm1 to get her in bed.

Interesting to see the Weekend Dawn fm atop the albums for a third week

Hey im good thanks. I just know that classic song from 1993 from Meat Loaf. Must have heard it after the year 2000 somewhere and I really liked it and it has ended up being a classic for him ever since. Yeah I really like the Sigrid song and even better to know that Griff is on it (she's great too, relatively new with some great songs released last year). Lana will always chart well but her song was not strong enough for the no.1 spot. I think you will really like FKA Twigs especialy given that you like Tinashe. Her music fits the same genre in general. I agree its a bit more dark rnb, her previous albums were more moody sultry rnb if that makes any sense. Charlie Puth is really talented, reckon the song may take a while to grow in some countries. Yep, the track from Lost Frequencies is getting bigger every week so a good chance it could break the top 10 soon. Yes, I knew you would like the re-entry from Tinashe. She released a music video for it this week. Great choreography and yes, I didnt realise she was an independent artist until you mentioned it a while back. Seems like other artists are following this pattern too. Imagine a collab between Normani ft Tinashe and Chloe, you would go insane! I didn't hear about chris brown. Its so difficult to know which side of the story is true and not to make judgements until full details are released.
