Mabel & 24kGoldn arrive straight at no.1 this week with the extremely catchy “overthinking” with an instrumental synth beat that sounds straight from the 80’s. Ella Mai holds the no.2 spot for a 2nd week in a row but this time with “break my heart” climbing up from last weeks no.3.
Better news for her on the album chart though as Ella Mai climbs up to no.1 dethroning Florence & The Machine after 1 week at the top spot. Sigrid remains at no.3 also being a former no.1 album.
Longest chart runners:
- Sam Fender – 17 going under (46 consecutive weeks)
- Griff & Sigrid – Head on Fire (18 consecutive weeks)
- Tate McRae – She’s all I wanna be (16 consecutive weeks)
- Elle Duhe – Middle of the night (16 non consecutive weeks)
Next week, look out for potential new singles from Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa ft Young Thug, Mimi Webb, MUNA, Ed Sheeran, Kelly Clarkson (Billie Eilish cover), Sky Ferreira, NEIKED with Anna Marie and Latto, M.I.A and tracks from the Stranger Things 4 soundtrack!
On the album front, look out for the debut album from Tate McRae, a strong contender for the no.1 spot.

Yes, your right that I have been listening to Ella Mai's album and there are some standout tracks namely "DFMU" her lead single and then those that are i my chart such as "hide" which is beautiful and "break my heart" slightly more upbeat than "hide". "Sink or swim" has been on my radar the past week. She's so criminally underrated especially in the UK. Yes, you never know, another album track may enter from Ella Mai although Tate McRae has released an album which is pretty good too and may takeover potentially. Mabel has not charted well with that track in the official charts but i reckon it will climb as more people hear it. Yes, the latto song is great and I think i prefer the remix because of the "fantasy" sample from Mariah Carey. Dermot Kennedy may have another slow burner hit with "something to someone". I agree, his voice and writing skills are great. He's up there with Sam Fender for me. "Bam Bam" and "Psychofreak" I have enjoyed listening to this week, the latter which has not really hit the mark on the charts yet in the UK. I think "Fair" would have done even better if she released a video for it for me. Its still doing well for a song without an official video. I'm surprised myself that "seventeen going under" is still on my chart but I have not got sick of it yet, its still being played. I wonder if it will reach the 1 year milestone. The last song to do that for me was "blinding lights". Its a shame that Emeli Sande is now so underrated. She was hige when she first appeared on the scene in the UK selling the biggest album of the year and multiple hits. Now she has been forgotten about. Some of the standout tracks on her album are "there isnt much" and "ready to love" which are completely different styles. Have a listen, you might like. Kehlani is another artist who has just projected herself to another level with her new album. Im starting to love "altar" even more and "everything" is starting to get some plays for me. She has also just released a video for "melt".
Hie buddy i really see you took time on ella mai album you're digesting it interesting to see those non singles for a third week in the top 10 .i see another entry again from her interesting to see what happens in the future .I guessed it right Mabel straight atop wonderful it will probably enter next week Harry and Kendrick Lamar bomb affected it. Latto in the top 10 still wooah you're definitely feeling it. Interesting to see Dermot Kennedy something to someone steady in the top 10 i love his writing skills his approach he's the only one doing interesting to see gains from Camila Cabelo up again. Normani fair hangs around for another week i see it dropping for you. Sam Fender still in the chart 46 weeks amazing that's the longest running for you interesting to see that .i didn't know emeli dropped an album.
Interesting to see gain from Altar i see Up at night still performing fairly....
On the albums chart interesting to see ella mai to the top spot for the first time.
