The Biggest Songs Of The Week!

Kate Bush holds onto the no.1 spot for a 5th consecutive week on my singles chart with “Running up that hill” (matching Adele’s 5 week run at no.1 with “easy on me”) made stronger by the release of volume 2 of Stranger Things season 4. The success of the show continues to hold a grip on the chart with an old reworking of a track from Journey which re-enters at no.2. Meanwhile Freya Ridings returns with her epic track “lost without you” into the top 10 after her performance at Wimbledon.

MUNA remains at no.1 for a 2nd week on the album chart, again keeping Chris Brown off the top spot.

Sam Fender has now spent a full year on the chart with “Seventeen Going Under” and the track continues to do well, currently within the top 20.

Longest chart runners:

  1. Sam Fender – 17 going under (52 consecutive weeks)
  2. Tate McRae – She’s all I wanna be (22 consecutive weeks)
  3. Camila Cabello & Ed Sheeran – Bam Bam (18 consecutive weeks)
  4. Ella Henderson – Emotions (17 consecutive weeks)

Next week, look out for new singles from Loren Allred, The 1975, Amy MacDonald, Zoe Wees, Kygo, Ciara & Burna Boy ft Ed Sheeran.

Hi! I liked to see the entries for "Good Love", "Catch Me In The Air" and "Vegas"! Great chart, and check out my newest one!

Hi Zack!
Nice to see "Running Up That Hill" at the top, as well as the returns for "Separate Ways" and "Lost Without You" and the debuts for "Dreamer", "Catch Me In The Air", "Hard Out Here" and "Vegas".
Great chart!

Huuh !! ,5 weeks atop is insane. Giving the oldie feeling I'm going to give it a listen this is insane  .Break My Soul in the negative direction already? Wow Dermot Kennedy dropped another song,,honestly he's definitely giving r&b feeling in his pop culture something to someone has heavily growing on me. He's got upcoming album i didn't l loved his previous album can't wait for it .oh my gosh City Girls and Usher brought an old era i love the energy in it like Latto said .Finally Vegas debut this week I'm impressed because the beat is insane. Like the lowly debut of Cardi b honestly I don't like the song I felt it was overproduced kkk.RAYE is now an independent artist did you know. Psychofreak is enduring i can say that is the favorite from that album.

I cannot miss the comment congratulations on having the first ever song to spend a full year??? BLINDING lights did what by the way

Ha ha! I guess it is very rare for me to have a track that goes 5 weeks at no.1. You might not feel the song but remember that I already knew this song from ages ago and then my fave show bought it back to the spotlight and it was overplayed in the series to bring it to the attention of the viewers. I dont think Beyonce has released a video for the song yet ? But it will hang around in the top 10 for now. I didnt really think of Dermot's songs having an rnb feeling, but yeah he has soul in his music, great vocal and lyrics. Yes, Im looking forward to his album. His last album is tough to beat though as it more or less spent a whole year in my top 10. I randomly came accross the City Girls and Usher track and just loved the vibe of the track. It took me while to get into "vegas" by Doja Cat. She releases hit after hit. Yes, I kind of wasnt a fan of Cardi B's song either, unless it grows on me after the music video. Yes, I heard that Raye went independent, the song does feel different and good luck to her. She was not allowed to release an album with her old label which i dont get as she was popular and featured on so many songs. Both Camila songs have done well but are slipping down fast now. Blinding lights spent over a year in my chart too - think it was just under 60 weeks or something.
