The Biggest Songs Of The Week!

Kate Bush breaks the record (at least on my Crown note charts) making it 10 long consecutive weeks at the top with “Running up that hill” (it now beats “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd’s 9 week stint at no.1 between 2019 and 2020). Meanwhile, The Weekend enjoys 2 songs in the top 10 including a re-entry for “Best Friends” following the release of the remix this week with Summer Walker.

Beyonce remains at no.1 on the album charts with “Renaissance” beating stiff competition from Calvin Harris (2) and Eminem (3).

The highest new entry this week is a welcomed return for The Killers with “Boy” entering at no.7.

Longest chart runners:

  1. Sam Fender – 17 going under (57 consecutive weeks)
  2. Tate McRae – She’s all I wanna be (27 consecutive weeks)
  3. Latto & Mariah Carey ft DJ Khaled - Big Energy (remix) (17 consecutive weeks)
  4. Dermot Kennedy - Something to Someone (14 consecutive weeks)

Next week look out for new singles from Alicia Keys, First Aid Kit, Nicki Minaj, Ali Gatie ft Kehlani, Jessie Reyez, YG and Bella Poarch.

On the album front, look out for a deluxe album from Alicia Keys and a new album from Megan Thee Stallion.

Interesting nèws to see Running up that as the longest running number one literally thats insane two months atop the way its receiving spins on Americans radio for 80s song oooh .interesting to see the Weekend steady there and REENTRY of best friend if I didn't let you know would have known that the remix is out ??

Loving seeing Break my Soul fighting in the top 5. Coast fighting also in the top 10

Sadly Wait for u trips a little bit that's interesting to see how long will it remain in the chart. Like the entry of Becky hill and Joel Corry it just missed it could be in top 70 of my chart .

Interesting to see Alien Superstar bows in the top 20 it's definitely growing on you i like seeing it hope it gains next week

Sadly news for Olivia i didn't know her songs but I know her history with John Travolta.

Like the rebound of The Something to someone clocking 14 weeks in the chart that could be one of longest for you this year

Sam Fender 57 weeks👀👀 that's an incredible run for you so excited to see how long will it extend or its falling off

On the album interesting Calvin Harris blocked by Beyonce im sure you now vibing to it lol

Enjoy your weeknd

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Im surprised myself that Kate Bush has made it 10 weeks at no.1, I wonder who will eventually knock it off the chart? Yes, I probably would nto have known about the remix to "Best Friends" without your message last week! It was one of my faves when the album came out as it peaked originally at no.5. "Wair for u" only slipped one place so it could still do well, it has been a slow grower for me. Im expecting the Joel Corry/Becky Hill track to debut for you soon, after all you do love Becky Hill. Yes, I really like"Alien Superstar", its now actually my fave off her album! I only know 2 songs for Olivia Newton John and they both entered. "Twist of Fate" at no.20 was actually used in the soundtrack for "Stranger Things" season 2 and was how I found out about the 80s track. Sam Fender could be slipping out soon but difficult to say. I think The Weekend "Blinding Lights" had 59 weeks on my chart so it could be a tight race to see if Sam Fender still hangs around or not. Some of the tracks on Calvin's Album are pretty good but yes, Beyonce's album is slowly growing....Hope your having a good week.
