Taylor Swift gains a second consecutive week at the top and hence remains with the feat of a double number 1 on both the singles chart (Anti-Hero) and the album chart (Midnights). Her dominance on the singles chart continues with multiple album tracks still doing well within the top 40.
Sam Fender was Taylor’s closest competitor this week with “Wild Grey Ocean”, climbing up from last week’s no.8 up to no.2. Elsewhere in the top 10, Rihanna gained a top 10 new entry at no.7 with “lift me up”, her first hit for several years. Meanwhile, Adele re-entered in the top 10 chart with “I drink wine” at no.6 following the release of the beautiful official video.
How the Top 10 would have looked like if there were no Taylor Swift singles:
1. Sam Fender – Wild Grey Ocean
2. Adele – I Drink Wine
3. Rihanna – Lift me up
4. SZA - Shirt
5. Ellie Goulding – Let It Die
6. Dermot Kennedy – Innocence & Sadness
7. Raye – Escapism
8. S.Smith/K.Petras - Unholy
9. Kate Bush – Running up that hill
10. Chris Brown – Under the influence
Longest chart runners:
- Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill (22 consecutive weeks)
- MUNA – What I Want (19 consecutive weeks)
Next week, look out for heavy weight new single releases from Selena Gomez & P!nk,
On the album front, look our for new albums from First Aid Kit, The Spice Girls and Sigrid re-issues her no.1 album on my chart “How to let go”.

Impressed to see the dominance of Taylor Swift I appreciated the album it's a storytelling very good lyricist. Im impressed also to see that Anti Hero spends a second week atop though there are some dropouts from her . Liked the REENTRY of I drink wine i heard it on a local radio station for the first time. I see Lift Me Up is your highest debut it's a fair song for me not really huge hope it grows on me in the future .liked seeing that Shirt could squeeze in the top 10 interesting to see her doing the genre she loves that song is hot r&b . Liked the vocal delivery and instrument very catchy hook .liked the rebounds of Unholy and Kiss me definitely this week will be streaming his album . Super freaky girl still in the top 40with the huge bomb interesting. Liked the lowly debut of Made You Look it's almost similar to her All About the bass hit even the sounds its similar to her first two albums.
Yes, still digesting Taylor's album and some of them are great gems, perhaps not radio friendly but great lyrics especially "wouldve couldve shouldve". Rihanna peaked at 7 I guess because of the respect of listening to the track but despite great vocals, i wouldnt say its a great song and i think it will fall onall charts globally (perhaps remain stable when the movie black panther is out). SZA has done well to enter at no.10 for me, I agree, I love the catchy hook too. Super freaky girl slipped big last week - think it slipped 18 places but now is stable this week, shes on her way out... Yeah Megan has gone back to her roots but its only big because of tik tok and I feel she had better songs off her album.
Hi there Zack!
Nice to see Taylor still dominant in your chart, the return for "I Drink Wine" and the debuts for "Lift Me Up", "Bones" and "Lionheart (Fearless)".
Great chart!
