The Biggest Songs Of The Week!

Taylor Swift now gains a 5th consecutive week at the top of the singles chart with Anti-Hero levelling with the 5 weeks at no.1 for D.Guetta/Bebe Rexha (but still well behind the mammoth 11weeks at the top for Kate Bush). Dermot Kennedy was the closest competitor with his single “kiss me” climbing back to it’s previous peak at no.2.

There was better news for Dermot on the album front with his new album “Sonder” knocking off Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” from the pole position after she had spent 4 consecutive weeks at no.1. He also has all but one of his album tracks inside the top 40 singles chart including several re-entries.

Longest chart runners:

  1. Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill (25 consecutive weeks)
  2. Dermot Kennedy - Better Days (22 non consecutive weeks)

  4. Sam Smith - Getting Started (19 non consecutive weeks
  5. Lizzo – 2 be loved (Am I ready) (16 consecutive weeks)
  6. First Aid Kit – Out of my head (15 consecutive weeks)

Next week, look out for the new album from Stormzy.

Longtime buddy very sorry I've been very busy hey i missed your previous charts. Interesting to see 5 weeks atop for Anti hero tying Uk top 40 same chart.  5 weeks is no joke .of course i couldn't be more happier if I hadn't seen a bomb of Dermot Kennedy artist of the year for me .i like seeing Kiss Me at 2 .i like seeing One Life as the highest debut that's a new standout track from the album . Shirt maintains in the top 3 lovely to see that . Likr seeing the reentries of Better Days and Something to someone . Oh my gosh you telling me Taylor swift still have some tracks in the week of Dermot Kennedy tracks all charting wow . Running up that hill still in the top 20 with bombs of Taylor and Dermot  . Im impressed that under the influence has maintained in the chart it quickly exited my chart. Like the huge gains of Rich Flex you vibing to the album?? I see major distribution charts today i like seeing the REENTRY of Calm Down  . Otherwise how have you been will send a message on WhatsApp. On the albums couldn't be suprised Dermot Kennedy that guy is heavily talented i like seeing Taylor contending for the top spot next week . Impressed that Beyonce RENAISSANCE still in the top 10 it will win a Grammy award I'm telling you .its interesting that adele are in the same category with beyonce for a second time remember with lemonade and 25 album

No worries bro. Im doing good and hope you are well too. The catchy "Anti Hero" chorus has stuck in my head and made it more popular. I like the message behind the song too. I agree,"one life" is a great track,at least the best out of the 6 new tracks from his album. Kind of wanted more tracks on his album, perhaps he will release a deluxe version next year with some new songs? SZA has been a contender for the top for the past 2 weeks and still is going strong. Yeah Taylor is having longevity with a lot of album tracks. It was the same when she released folklore and evermore. Yes, Kate Bush will stick around for a while yet. Have not got fed up of it yet... "under the influence" still on my radar, im still liking it and it may hang around in the top 20. I'm mainly liking "rich flex" and "major distribution" from the "her loss" album. Although I have not listened to the other tracks as much. I think "calm down" will climb more for me next week's chart.Im liking it again. Yes I remember when Adele beat Beyonce and she was upset about it and mentioned Beyonce in her speech. Beyonce will win grammies, too close to call for the album though. I don't think "30" for Adele was as big compared to "25" though. I think "21" was her best album.

Hey there!
Nice to see "Anti-Hero" still at #1 and "Kiss Me" right behind it, I also like the Dermot Kennedy takeover, the returns for "Calm Down" and "Getting Started".
Great chart!
