Chartbreakers:

It was a tight week for the top of the charts this week. Gabrielle Aplin almost made it to number 1 with her self titled album track 'dear happy' but with the release of the video for 'blinding lights', the song has continued to remain at the top. It is now number 1 for 8 consecutive weeks (6 on crown charts, but as released 2 weeks before).

It is a very quiet week for single releases for next week unless something surprising comes out on Friday (a bit like Eminem's surprise album!). Hayley Williams of Paramore may be a possible new entry but the song will need to grow on me. Therefore there could be a lot of climbers next week. Some of the songs looking to re-enter include Taylor Swifts- Miss Americano... due to the trailer of her new documentary. Ella Eyre could climb into the top 40 and Billie Eilish may re-enter the chart given that she has just released the video for Everything I wanted. Expect some possible suprises though

Hi Zack!
Nice to see the debuts for "What A Man Gotta Do", "About Work The Dancefloor" and "24 Hours" on your chart!
I've also put out a new chart this week, check it out if you have the time.
Great chart!

Hey Sergej, yes, i felt i got a bit late finding out about Georgia. She is underrated. I like the genre of music she makes. Im not a fan of the Jonas Brothers at all...but their new song is so catchy and the video is so fun and great to watch, it just grew on me!

Hey Zack! I see that Gabrielle Aplin was your top artist this week, given her takeover at the top 3! I also love that you have entered Georgia and Kodaline's new songs! However, I did not expect for Eminem to have 3 songs debuting. Anyway, nice chart this week!!

Hi, yes initially it was a battle between Gabrielle and Halsey, but Eminems album thrown in the mix was a surprise! Her new album is no way as good as her debut but there are so many great tracks on it. I am liking Georgia's music. I preferred Kodaline's old stuff, as I feel thay have gone more pop now, but still a decent song. As for Enimem, the Ed Sheeran duet was a given new entry. Darkness reminds me of 'stan' and then godzilla was the least popular for me but has grown on me.

Hey Zack! Woah... this is a very busy week.
I haven't had the chance to check out Gabrielle Aplin's new album, but I think she's a beautiful singer, so I'll definitely be checking it out before too long!
In fact, four out of your Top 5 were all new entries, but as far as the singles chart goes, I love seeing 'Blinding Lights' continue its run at #1, along with the debut for 'Godzilla'.
Impressive chart once again!

Hey Piran, yes a busy week of albums and trying to gauge out the best tracks for the weeks chart. I started only 6 weeks ago on crown note charts, but in fact the Weeknd has been no.1 for 8 weeks straight. There is a real battle for the top of the charts though on Friday with a suprise release battling for the top spot. All will be revealed on Friday. It could be that Blinding lights gets to number 1 on your chart, but slips to no.2 on my chart. We will see. Did you watch the Grammy's?

It would be cool if we had the same #1 this week, but hey, at least 'Blinding Lights' has topped both of our charts at some point regardless!
I only really watched the highlights, but I'm very impressed that Billie Eilish won all four of the main awards! I also thought Camila's performance of 'First Man' to her father was so emotional.
I'm also glad that tributes were paid to Kobe Bryant, as it was so horrible to hear what happened to him!
Did you watch them?

Well my chart is due any moment now, it is neck and neck and I may just have been swayed in the past 24 hours regarding the number 1. I just watched the highlights too. Was impressed with Demi Lovato and I didn't really listen to 'first man' properly until I heard it on the grammy's, was impressed! Didnt expect Billie Eilish to win the big 4 awards, impressive stuff
