Bulgaria's Hottest 10 Singles (W/E 16/01/2020)

This is an unofficial chart, compiled by me, highlighting the 10 biggest tracks in Bulgaria right now. Due to the lack of an official Bulgarian singles chart, apart from an airplay only one, this is the closest thing we can get to a true representation of the musical landscape in the country. The data is based on Spotify/Apple Music streams, YouTube views, and airplay data, all coming from official sources.

Highlights of the week:

• Without much competition in the way, Tones and I claims a 9th non-consecutive week and a 5th consecutive one at the top spot with 'Dance Monkey', experiencing a 4.5% overall gain in performance, compared to last week.
• Travis Scott spends a second week in the runner-up spot, after spending 3 weeks at #1 last year, with 'HIGHEST IN THE ROOM', boosted by a remix with Rosalia and Lil Baby; while SAINt JHN is also a non-mover at #3 with the Imanbek remix of 'Roses'.
• Justin Bieber claims the highest new entry this week with the lead single of his upcoming studio album, 'Yummy', entering at #4.
• Rising 6-5 is The Weeknd with 'Heartless', leaping 8-6 is Tyga's viral hit 'Ayy Macarena', and rebounding 10-7 is Dua Lipa with 'Don't Start Now'.
• Trevor Daniel's Tik-Tok-infused hit 'Falling' does the opposite this week, gaining 9-8, while another entry from The Weeknd returns to the top 10, after debuting at #3 at its release, 'Blinding Lights' rises 14-9.
• Rounding off the top 10 is Billie Eilish's latest single, 'everything i wanted', leaping ahead of 'bad guy' (14) and rebounding 17-10.
