The song faces some competition from Acda en de Munnik, whom peak in the second position with the lovely Het Regent Zonnestralen. The song is rapidly becoming a wild success. The duet between Bryan and Melanie C does easily holds its crown, aided by huge international sales.

Toy-Box step into the Top 10 with their fast climbing Tarzan & Jane. The hit serves as the lead single from their debut album “Fantastic”. The song was already released in 1998, but met no success yet. The single has been re-released to coincide with the release of the blockbuster hit film “Tarzan”, making Toy-Box a worldwide success. On this list, Tarzan & Jane was last week’s highest debut of the week. Now, the song jumps seven places, landing at Number 7 this week. The song marks Toy-Box their first Top 10-hit ever.

B*Witched land in the Top 10 with To You I Belong. The single was released as the third release from the girls’ eponymous debut album. The song became the girls’ third consecutive Number 1-hit in the United Kingdom and became another best-seller. The song finally achieves success on this list, becoming the girl group their third Top 10-hit. The girls previously landed the Top 10 with the chart-topper C’est La Vie and Rollercoaster. B*Witched their new single peaks at Number 10 this week.

2Pac scores the highest debut of the week. The song is the new post-humous release of the rapper 2Pac. On 7 September 1997, Tupac Shakur was shot by an unknown assailant in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. Producers and friends of 2Pac have already released post-humous singles before, spawning the hit singles I Wonder If Heaven Got a Ghetto and Do For Love. The new release is Changes, which discusses social issues such as drugs, poverty and discrimination. 2Pac debuts at Number 15 this week, his highest opening week yet.
