Harry Styles earns a sixth week at Number 1, while Eurovision takes over the chart

Harry Styles makes it to a sixth consecutive week at Number 1 with “As It Was”. The lead track from Harry’s upcoming studio album Harry’s House is once again the most-streamed song of the week. With six weeks atop the chart, “As It Was” extends its record as the longest-running Number 1-single of 2022 so far, surpassing Antoon’s “Hallo” and Kris Kross Amsterdam’s “Vluchtstrook”. He faces competition from Lizzo, who moves up to #2 with her viral hit single “About Damn Time”. Jack Harlow also keeps his eyes on the Number 1-spot, finishing at #3 this week with “First Class”.

After the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin last week, some of my favourite entries this year impact my personal chart. Leading the pack is The Netherlands’ “De Diepte” by S10. The song, which has been a national hit since day-one, was well-received at Eurovision and finished in 11th place; the same result as O’G3NE’s “Lights and Shadows” (2017) and Douwe Bob’s “Slow Down” (2016). On my personal list, “De Diepte” debuted at #16 upon release, but quickly fell off the chart after only four weeks. After the grand final last week, though, S10 returns bigger than ever, re-entering at #4 this week. It marks S10’s highest-peaking single to date and her second Top 10-hit, following “Zonder Gezicht” #10 with Froukje. It is also my second highest-peaking Dutch Eurovision-entry to date; the highest being Anouk her 2013-entry “Birds” which peaked at Number 1 on this chart.

At #23, last year’s Eurovision winners Måneskin score the highest debut of the week with the thrilling “Supermodel”. Ever since winning Eurovision in Rotterdam last year, the Italian pop-rock band have been taking Europe (and sometimes The States) by storm. Quickly after winning with “Zitti E Buoni”, they scored major chart hits with “I Wanna Be Your Slave” and “Begging”. On my personal list, success has been limited, mostly sticking to the lower Top 40. Their newest song “Supermodel”, however, is off to a strong start, as it already marks their highest peak since “Zitti E Buoni”’s peak debut at #22. Will it climb any higher? We’ll have to see if it sticks the landing.

At #27, Spain’s entry “SloMo” by Chanel Terrero enters the chart. The song finished in 3rd place, giving Spain its best result since 1995, and its highest total points ever. The Jennifer Lopez-inspired dance track is already scaling the international charts, becoming one of this year’s most successful entries. At #33, this year’s winner Kalush Orchestra from Ukraine debut with “Stefania”. The traditional hip hop track won with a landslide 631 points, greatly supported by the televoting. Ukraine was just 29 points from the highest possible score from the televoting.

At #39, we have the only non-Eurovision entry this week: “What Would You Do?” by Tate McRae. The Canadian teen star has been on a steady rise to success lately. Her singles “Feel Like Shit” and “Chaotic” received acclaim from critics, while “She’s All I Wanna Be” [#3] became her biggest-scoring single yet on my personal chart. With her debut album I Used to Think I Could Fly due to be released next week, big things can be expected of this young talent.

Hey Link! Lizzo at #2 is awesome to see, as is Freaky Deaky climbing the top 10. The Eurovision entries, especially SloMo, are great to see, as is MANESKIN debuting with SUPERMODEL! Waterfall & 10 Things I Hate About You climbing is great to see, and I'm so happy that what would you do by Tate (my personal #1 of the week) debuted, i hope it can climb!
Great chart! Take care!

Impressive for the long run As It Was surely the album will further boost it atop

Like seeing Lizzo contending .both lizzo and harry they are inspired by 70s 80s sounds im sure both albums will sound similar. Though harry more to pop rock

Like seeing Bam Bam endurance .nice to see Where are you now for 18th week in the chart

Hi Link!
Nice to see "As It Was" at the top, the Eurovision debuts and the return for "De Diepte".
Great chart!
