The Vengaboys party at Number 1 for a second week

The Vengaboys celebrate a second week at Number 1 with Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!! The single is rapidly becoming another international success for the loud Dutch act, crowning the lists in Flemish Belgium and the Netherlands. The Vengaboys are planning for a worldwide release as well, as their previous singles Up & Down and We Like to Party became international successes. On this list, the group easily fights off competition from Cher and Volumia!

Will Smith steps into the Top 10 with Miami. The single is the fourth and final release from “Big Willie Style”, his debut album. The album previously spawned the chart-topper Men In Black and the Top 10-single Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It. The album has been a massive commercial success and made Will Smith a household name on this list. Will Smith now enters the Top 10 with Miami, which marks his third single to reach the Top 10. The single peaks at Number 6 this week.

Billie Piper scores the highest debut of the week. Billie Piper has been the biggest newcomer of this year, storming the charts with Because We Want To and Girlfriend. The first single became a massive Number 1-hit and amassed over 72,000 points. Girlfriend has had similar success and became a solid Top 10-hit. Billie Piper now returns with She Wants You, which is the third single from her debut hit album “Honey to the B”. The new single has already been a big success in the United Kingdom and Ireland. On this list, the single debuts at Number 11.

Speaking of Girlfriend by Billie Piper, the single receives a Gold Certification this week. The song has peaked at Number 3 on this list. Internationally, the single was a big success. The single became her second consecutive Number 1-hit, whilst performing similarly in Ireland and overseas. As of this week, the love anthem has amassed over 40,000 points. Her highest-certified single is Because We Want To.
