Hello Piran!
Yeah, there's no other way around it. It's a eurovision impact on both of our charts!
I love it!
All songs that participated in Eurovision are great (even stuff like LT United's We Are The Winners as a joke song, it's funny!)
If you see my chart, well... Eurovision impacts as well, hopefully you'll get to see it, if you have the time!
Nice to see also "Fuego" debut, Mans did a great cover of Eleni's classic!
Great chart as always!

Hey Sergej! :)
Yeah, the Eurovision takeover was going to be inevitable & I can't wait to see to what extent when I check out your chart next.
That's awesome you liked every single entry from the current year or previous ones that made my Top 40 this week, since 24/40 (60%) of all songs here are because of Eurovision!
For as much as I love the original version of 'Fuego' from Eleni Foureira, I think I might prefer the cover from Mans Zelmerlow even more.
Regarding 'We Are The Winners', I definitely agree that even novelty songs can be among some of the best entries!
I can't wait to see all the action that happened on your chart this week.

Hey Piran! It's pretty insane with the impact Eurovision has had on your charts this week, with 7 songs in your Top 10 and half of your chart in total! Unfortunately, though, it does mean that I can't really comment on most of your chart, since I don't really pay much attention to the contest. That said, it is great to see both 'SOS' and 'I Don't Care' remain as just 2/3 non-Eurovision songs in your Top 10, and it's definitely surprising that 'Tough Love' managed to drop out straight from the Top 10! Looking to next week, it's good (for me) that there's less Eurovision impact, and I love that 'SOS' is set to go back to #1, and that 'I Don't Care' is set to rebound. Top 10 debuts for 'One Touch' and 'Cross Me' would both be fantastic to see as well! Great chart again, at least with the parts that I do know! :D

Hey Gameskiller! :)
That's fine, the discussion is very limited if you're not here for the Eurovision songs.
That said, it seems like none of them will be able to stay ahead of 'SOS' for more than this week, since that song is currently looking at a comfortable lead in the next chart for a fifth non-consecutive week at #1 (& a third different run at the top!).
As I mentioned on my comment to your chart, 'Tough Love' will probably be coming back after the Eurovision hype fades & especially when 'TIM' is released!
There's definitely competition among the Top 10 next week, as a new song from Kygo is also in the running to debut there too, but 'One Touch' & 'Cross Me' seem like they still have a decent chance to make it.
Have a good week!

I literally have nothing to say about this week, haha. Nice to see "SOS" return to #1 next week though, and "Love Me Anyway" in the Bubbling Under.

Hey Naos! :)
That's okay, I didn't think you'd have a lot to say this week to be fair.
That said, you'll be pleased to know that 'SOS' going back to #1 remains reasonably likely, while 'Love Me Anyway' still has a shot at the Top 40 (although 'Can We Pretend' is currently looking like the bigger P!NK song for now!).
One thing I'm surprised you didn't mention is that 'Dancing In The Dark' survived the 24-song Eurovision takeover! That means it would've easily been Top 20 if it weren't for Eurovision & to be fair, the song is looking like it'll get there next time anyway!
Thanks for your comment as usual though & I'll take a look at your new chart now.

Hi there Piran! I've never actually spoke to you before or commented on one of your charts, but it's great to finally get to communicate in one form or another! For the past 6 months or so I've been reading your comments and statistics on the Official Chart here in the UK and it's thanks to you I discovered this website. I really envy how much effort you put in to your comments on both the Official Chart and Billboard, it seems like you really are a chart enthusiast.

I absolutely love the variety of material in your chart, ranging from Eurodance (fresh out of Eurovision) to Alternative songs from the likes of Pale Waves and Halsey. I myself am not a fan of Eurovision, but this year I watched it for the first time with full focus and I must admit, it's the best year in a while that I've seen for music. Soldi was the true winner for me, however I have not included Eurovision in my latest charts. It's great to see Avicii's presence on your chart over a year after his unfortunate death, and I too can't wait for the album TIM.

Your music taste very closely represents the same of the UK, with many interesting and wonderful twists, which is very cool to look at. But thank you for introducing me to this website. I'll see your comments on the UK singles chart on Friday as per usual :)

Hey Ben! :)
Firstly, thank you very much for your comment! It's awesome to hear that you've been following my posts & reviews on Disqus.
I've been following the Billboard charts since 2012 & the Official Charts ones since 2009, so I'm definitely a big fan of analysing & reviewing charts from across the world.
I'm glad you say that, because the main aim of my personal charts is to display a wide variety of genres & cultures. As you could tell, I'm fascinated by Eurovision, but it's cool that you love my #1 this week too!
I actually agree with your statement on my music taste being similar to that of the UK Singles Chart, just with less rap & more dance or foreign language songs instead, haha.
Hopefully you'll enjoy using Crown Note too by the way. I'll post my next OCC review, as well as my next personal chart here, within the next few hours.
Enjoy your weekend!
