As noted in my 2024 Year-End chart, I'm making a slight change this year: when a new album is released, only one non-single from that project will be eligible to chart at a time. This will help give more artists their moment in the spotlight. With that said, let's dive into this week's list!
Tate McRae rockets to #1 with her latest track, "2 hands," from her upcoming album So Close to What. Coming in at #2 is a re-entry: Beyoncé and Post Malone's "LEVII'S JEANS", which got a boost after their amazing performance during Beyoncé's Christmas Day halftime show.
Gracie Abrams climbs four spots to #3 with "That's So True", while Lainey Wilson makes an impressive debut at #4 with "4x4xU." Lainey is no stranger to the chart, having previously appeared with tracks like the title song from her album Whirlwind. Rounding out the top five is a former chart-topper, Blake Shelton's "Texas".
In addition to "4x4xU," this week's new entries include:
- The Weeknd's "Dancing in the Flames"
- Miranda Lambert & Parker McCollum's "Santa Fe"
- Teddy Swims's "Bad Dreams"
- Tim McGraw's "People Like Us"
- Reba McEntire's "Happy's Place", the theme song for NBC’s new sitcom of the same name.
Finally, as the holiday season wraps up, all 2024 Christmas songs have dropped off the chart. Also departing this week are Katy Perry's "OK" and Kylie Minogue's "Someone for Me".
