Sergej's Personal Chart 08.03.2024

Since I lost my job, I am concentrating fully on my life, that means music and these charts are now less important for me, I will still do them, but they will be all over the place in the next months ahead. So if anyone comments on why some songs are gaining big or dropping very low, I have/haven't listen to most songs during the weeks ahead and also my personal life/searching for a new job is more important now.

Highlights:
- Annalisa still remains the italian queen in my charts as "Sinceramente" holds on for another week at #1.
- This prevents Benjamin Ingrosso and his hit "Kite" from getting the top spot, holding it to #2.
- The highest debut this week comes from german singer Leony and her new hit "Simple Life" at #3, it is a huge contender for #1 next week.
- German DJ Marcapasos continues the momentum with his hit "Cosby Sweater" rising up to #6.
- The legend of Beyoncé keeps on growing with yet another top 10 hit in her collection, "TEXAS HOLD 'EM" rises up to #9.
- Other debuts this week (outside of Leony) come from KAMRAD, Lazza, A7S & Alok, Djo, Cat Burns, Alfa, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Galantis/David Guetta/5 Seconds Of Summer, Gryffin & Rita Ora, Liam Payne, Michael Marcagi, Fred Again../Lil Yachty/Overmono, Tate McRae, SZA, Maggie Rogers, Pet Shop Boys, Griff, Pharrell Williams & Miley Cyrus and Victoria Nadine & R3HAB.

Also leave a comment on my chart as a whole, it would make me happy!

P.S. I apologize if I comment on other charts or on your comments to my chart very late, I'm currently very busy with my personal life, which will also affect my chart in weeks and months ahead.

Ahoy, Sergej!

I hope you’re doing well.

Love the new entries for ‘Feel This Way, ‘Doctor’, ‘Miss Me Too’, ‘run for the hills’, ‘stayinit’, ‘Teardrops’, ‘Last of Us’, ‘Lighter’, ‘End of Beginning’, ‘Monster’, and especially ‘Simple Life’. Some of these I’d love to get into my chart but grrrr, maybe I do need those extra 60 spots??!?

I did get ‘Lonely Dancers’ in, great to see the big jump for you this week. ‘Dance You Outta My Head’ too. So sad I only learned Cat Janice passed this week. I knew it was terminal but not so soon. Climbs for ‘You Love Who You Love’, and ‘Make You Mine’ too. Something to root for!

It looks like ‘Love, Hurt, Repeat’ may have reached its peak now at this point with back-to-back drops. Still a great rise a couple of weeks ago.

Good stuff. Have a great weekend!

Hi there!

Glad that you like the new entries for ‘Feel This Way, ‘Doctor’, ‘Miss Me Too’, ‘run for the hills’, ‘stayinit’, ‘Teardrops’, ‘Last of Us’, ‘Lighter’, ‘End of Beginning’, ‘Monster’ and 'Simple Life', I mean, I personally would love an extra 60 spots add for your chart, just saying. Also glad you approve of the big gains for "Lonely Dancers", "Dance You Outta My Head', as well as climbs for 'You Love Who You Love' and 'Make You Mine'.

'Love Hurt Repeat' has peaked now, but it could rebound on my chart, you'll never know!

Thank you for your comment, take care and have a great weekend as well!

Thank you for the response, Sergej!

Regarding a Top 100. The idea is floating in my head for real consideration in 2025. I will revisit that thought once I know my new schedule this year. I know I can fill out 100 easily, but the time remains the potential issue.

Hi!

Glad to see…
The debuts: #33 "100 Messaggi"; #68 "End of Beginning"; #77 "Vai"; #90 "Scared To Start"; #92 "Run For the Hills"; #93 "Saturn"; #97 "Loneliness"; #99 "Doctor (Work It Out).
An existing tracks: #1 "Sinceramente"; #2 "Kite"; #7 "Beat of Your Heart"; #8 "Beautiful Things"; #10 "All Night Long"; #16 "Never Be Alone"; #19 "Love On"; #22 "Waking Up"; #37 "Alibi"; #43 "Love Hurt Repeat"; #44 "Lovers in a Past Life"; #48 "Turn the Lights Back On"; #56 "Lieb mich"; #60 "Make You Mine"; #63 "Not My Fault"; #65 "Deep in Your Love"; #70 "Tu No"; #87 "Beedrom Exile".

Goodbye to my favorites: "Quando Nevica"; "Solo Mai"; "Fino a Qui".
Also, goodbye to: "Sticks & Stones"; "A Cena Con Gli Dei"; "Euforia"; "Am I Enough".

I'm very interesting, what is your source of #31 "The Alibi" where you found this song.
P.S. Hi Piran! Please, answer me about your source too. I asked you on the page of your personal chart.

Strong chart!
Good luck and have a good mood!

Hi Sergej! Forgive me for intervening in your conversation, but for my part I found Dylan's song "The Alibi" in some Spotify playlists and - in parallel - in the New Music Friday edition of Official Charts of 08 February 2024:  https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/new-releases-zara-larsson-usher-noah-kahan-sia-kylie-minogue-and-more/ ;)

Hi Sergej,

Epic jump for Conan Gray with "Lonely Dancers" this week!

I do hope "Never Be Lonlely" by Jax Jones gets replaced with the Cascada remix next week, hehe.

Great debut for Djo with "End of Beginning"

Great chart!

Hey Sergej! :)

Glad to see 'Sinceramente' at #1 for another week, along with the debuts for: 'Simple Life', 'So Good', 'End Of Beginning', 'Last Of Us', 'Scared To Start', 'Stayinit', 'Run For The Hills', 'Saturn', 'Miss Me Too' & 'Doctor (Work It Out)'.

Good chart!

Hey Piran!

Glad that you like "Sinceramente" at #1 for a second week and the debuts for "Simple Life", "So Good", "End Of Beginning", "Last Of Us", "Scared To Start", "Stayinit", "Run For The Hills", "Saturn", "Miss Me Too" & "Doctor (Work It Out)".

Thank you for your comment and take care!

Hi Sergej!

nice to see Dua, Beyonce & Benson all in the top 10! i also love dylan climbing with the alibi, and that massive jump for conan gray!

nice chart!

Hi Sergej! ;D

Another great week for "Sincerely" (did this song win the San Remo festival?). "Kite" is a great #2 and while "Cosby Sweater" threatens the top positions, Beyoncé’s "Texas" is already Top Ten.

Big jump for "The End of the Contender" is a big contender for songs that are already in the Top Ten. I’m glad that "Nothing Matters" can tempt even the highest region. I wonder why "Gasoline" isn’t on the mainstream yet, it’s a great Abel song. On the other hand, I consider justified the great leap of "Lonely Dancers", is a great song, reminds me of the wonderful 80’s. Another great debut in the Top 40 is "Head Underwater" and "Happier".

I'm glad that "You Love Who You Love", "The Door", "Dance You Outta My Head", "Make You Mine", "Bitter Sweet Love", "Deep In Your Love", "Science" and "Abracadabra" continue to rise. " Gimme Your Hand" is also a decent song.

Wow! 20 debuts this week, I think it’s a record. Among them I really like "Simple Life", "So Good", "Alone" (Cat Burns seems to me an artist with a lot of quality and with a very promising artistic future), "Showtime" (for a little score did not enter Rockmaker this week), "Last of Us", "Teardrops", "Saturn", "Don’t Forget Me" (nice song!), "Loneliness" (nice comeback for Pet Shop Boys), "Miss Me Too" (I like it!), "Feel This Way" (I also like a lot!) and, of course "End of Beginning", "Scared To Start", "Doctor" and "Lighter" (although I am surprised that it has debuted very low because it is beautiful). My Italian song of the week on SPC is "Vai!".

This week there are many and very good musical productions on your chart, even though your time has been shortened to attend to it. You will not have time but your musical smell remains exquisite, thank U very much ;D  Blessed week 4 U!

Hey Rockmaker!

Glad that you like "Sinceramente" still at the top (unfortunately it didn't win Sanremo, it was third, the winner was Angelina Mango with "La Noia"), as well as "Kite" still at #2, "Cosby Sweater" rising in my top 10 and "Texas Hold 'Em" making the top 10..

"The End Of The Contender" and it's high jump is connected with their new album which gave it a boost, "Nothing Matters" is threating the top 10 by next week, "Gasoline" has been getting attention on my chart, thanks to it being the Official theme song for WWE's big event Wrestlemania 40. "Lonely Dancers" might continue it's rise, potentially making the top 20, "Head Underwater" and "Happier" could also continue their rises.

Out of all the gainers, some could rise even higher. And for the debuts, same story, with "Simple Life" currently challenging for the #1 spot on next week's chart.

"Alone" is another great Cat Burns song, which displays her fantastic artistry, "Showtime" did have some listening points in my personal playlist, glad that you like "Don't Forget Me", "Loneliness", "Miss Me Too" and "Feel This Way", "Lighter" could gain next week, only a matter of time. And "Vai!" is such a fun song, glad it's your favourite italian debut this week.

Thank you for your comment, again still on my job search, I just hope that I can work again and concentrate on loving music and listening to it.

Take care.
