Sergej's Personal Chart 21.03.2024

Since I lost my job, I am concentrating fully on my life, that means music and these charts are now less important for me, I will still do them, but they will be all over the place in the next months ahead. So if anyone comments on why some songs are gaining big or dropping very low, I have/haven't listen to most songs during the weeks ahead and also my personal life/searching for a new job is more important now. + If you see my charts being all over the place, it is because I'm currently more concentrated on job search than music, don't worry I still hope to find a music to calculate my charts with the help of music.

Highlights:
- Leony remains at #1 with "Simple Life".
- #2, #3 & #4 also remain unchanged with Annalisa's "Sinceramente", Benjamin Ingrosso's "Kite" and Marcapasos' "Cosby Sweater" remaining at the same place as last week.
- The Last Dinner Party rise up to the top 5 with "Nothing Matters" going to #5.
- The highest debut this week comes from german singer Lena with "Loyal To Myself" at #8.
- The Weeknd gets another top 10 hit to his collection with "Gasoline" rising up to #9.
- Other debuts this week (outside of Lena) come from Thorsteinn Einarsson, Rea Garvey & Picture This, Silbermond, Alice Merton, FLO, MACE/Chiello/Coez, Twenty One Pilots, Laufey, Justin Timberlake and Rosa Linn.
- Next week, look forward to debuts from Olivia Rodrigo, Dylan Conrique, ClockClock and much more!

Hey Sergej! :)

Glad to see 'Simple Life' staying at #1 & particularly 'The Alibi' getting close to the Top 10.

I also like the debuts for 'Loyal To Myself', 'Hotel Heartache', 'Walk Like This', 'Overcompensate', 'Goddess' & 'Universe'!

Good chart yet again.

Take care!

Hey Piran!

Glad that you like "Simple Life" still at the top and "The Alibi" almost reaching the top 10, as well as the debuts for "Loyal To Myself", "Hotel Heartache", "Walk Like This", "Overcompensate", "Goddess" & "Universe".

Thank you for your comment and take care!

Hi Sergej!

Glad to see #2 "Sinceramente"; #3 "Kite"; #12 "Vai"; #13 "Beat of Your Heart"; #17 "Beautiful Things"; #20 "Never Be Alone"; #22 "Lighter"; #24 "All Night Long"; #25 "Tutta Gold"; #28 "Waking up"; #30 "Selfish"; #34 "Love On"; #39 "We Can't Be Friends"; #41 "Lonely Dancers"; #42 "Alibi"; #43 "End of Beginning"; #50 "All We Got"; #52 "Never Be Lonely"; #56 "Lovers in a Past Life"; #58 "Lieb mich"; #61 "Make You Mine"; #64 "Turn the Lights Back On"; #71 "Love Hurt Repeat"; #74 "Doctor (Work It Out)"; #78 "Deep in Your Love"; #79 "Casa Mia"; #81 "Tu No"; #84 "Run For the Hills"; #91 "Saturn"; #94 "Ruggine"; #95 "Overcompensate"; #97 "Not My Fault".

Thanks for your chart and have a good mood!

Hey Sergej! :D

It’s nice to see "Simple Life" again atop leading an almost stable Top 5 but for "Nothing Matters" that finally reached the highest region (and that could continue rising). Meanwhile Abel gets a well-deserved new Top Ten with "Gasoline". " Honestly" could be released next week in Rokmaker and how nice to see that it has chances to return to #1.

I like the big profits of "The Alibi" which is already Top 20 and that could be in the Top Ten next week, the big jump of "Lighter", the new peak of "Head Underwater", "We Can’t Be Friends", my favorite "End of Beginning", "Gimme Your Hand" (is a decent song), "Louder", "Doctor (Work It Out)" and "Magic Moment". "Stayinit" sounds very unusual.

I hope that "Scared To Start" does not remain stagnant and continues to rise and that "Beautiful Things", "Lonely Dancers", "Make You Mine", "You Love Who You Love", "Dance You Outta My Head" and "Saturn" recover.

According to the First look chart, "The Door" should be making a spectacular jump next week, so it’s worth it (will it be the first #1 for Teddy Swims?). In Rockmaker is already tempting the Top Ten.

Great debut of "Loyal to Myself" is a song that sounds very promising. Among other debuts they already have my attention: "Pick Me Up" (I love it!), "Walk Like This", "Goddess", "No Angels" (I hope this time works for Justin) and "Universe".

Great chart/playlist as you have accustomed us week after week! I wish U a happy new week of early Spring.

Hey Rockmaker!

It's always a pleasure to hear from you and to dive into the exciting world of music with your insightful updates. "Simple Life" has been quite the steady #1 song, hasn't it? And with "Nothing Matters" below creeping into the top spot is definitely a well-deserved feat, especially for their first big charting hit. The Weeknd's "Gasoline" entering the Top Ten is a testament to his talent and of course he is a chart-making presence and I'm eager to see where "Sinceramente" will land for you, there is also a french version released of it (which is interesting), we'll be seeing if it has the chance to return at the top next.

I'm happy that you like "The Alibi" making its way up the ranks, it seems like it's on track for even greater success on my chart. And I agree, "Lighter" has seen quite the jump, a reason for why is how much I played it during the week, as has "Head Underwater" and the others you've mentioned. "Stayinit" being unusual is a case of the style of the artist behind the song and the featured electronic group on the song.

It's always a mix of excitement and anticipation to see how songs like "Scared To Start" progress, and I share your hope for the recovery of the others you mentioned (I can tell you, some of them will recover). "The Door" making a potential leap to the top could be a monumental moment indeed, it could lead to possibly marking Teddy Swims' first #1—exciting times ahead on the chart!

The debut of "Loyal to Myself" is another hit making song for Lena, she always gets a high place on the charts, along with the other debuts you've highlighted, many of these songs will continue to rise and others might leave to make place for new music or songs that finally reach my chart after weeks of release. It seems like there's no shortage of great music to discover and enjoy.

Thank you for your kind words about the chart/playlist—I'm glad you find it enjoyable week after week. Wishing you a happy new week as well, filled with the joys of early Spring and plenty of great tunes to soundtrack your days.

I have a little more homework, love it! Leony retaining top spot is awesome to see, in fact, I'm loving the whole Top 3. I feel the Sanremo series is a little detrimental to the way I think. Before we even get used to the songs, and there are so many of them, the whole thing is over and our focus is directed to the winner. I think La Noia was a better Eurovision entry but Sinceramente might be more my kind of thing. Does that make sense or just contradictory nonsense? Who knows, who cares?

What do you think of the new Oly Alexander added version of "Kite"? Beautiful bonus or sickly sacrilege??

Great to see 'Loyal To Myself' entering big at #8. Looking for a hefty 'Straitjacket' style run there, 10 weeks in the Top 10! I see a heater run for the song in my chart. How high can it go??

I'm loving the big gains too for 'The Alibi', 'Lighter', and End of Beginning'.

Top stuff as always! Happy new week to you!

Hey there!

It's fantastic to hear that you're enjoying the music scene and keeping up with the charts! Leony holding onto the top spot is indeed exciting, especially with such strong contenders in the Top 3, Top 5 or even top 10. It's interesting how the Sanremo series can shape our perceptions of songs, isn't it? With so many tracks coming at us all at once, it's easy to feel a bit overwhelmed. I totally get what you mean about your feelings between "La Noia" and "Sinceramente." I do agree with the statement as well, but again the music is always enjoyable to listen to.

As for the new Olly Alexander version of "Kite," I do like it, while I still prefer more the original, I am glad this added version excited, even if with it I don't see it breaking into the UK charts, what a shame.

It's awesome to see that you like "Loyal To Myself" making a big entrance at #8! With its momentum building, who knows how far it could climb? A "Straitjacket" style run sounds exhilarating, and I'm excited to see how it performs in this chart. With your enthusiasm backing it, I wouldn't be surprised if it makes a significant climb in the coming weeks.

And those big gains for "The Alibi," "Lighter," and "End of Beginning" are definitely worth celebrating! This chart is filled with some quality tunes, where there is something for everyone.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and here's to a fantastic new week filled with great music discoveries! Cheers!

Hi Sergej!

its brilliant to see nothing matters in the top 5, as well as gasoline and the alibi climbing, and the massive climb for we can't be friends (wait for your love).

nice chart!
