Waffle's Current Favourites - Week of January 18, 2025

This week was fairly quiet, especially in the Top 5 where there was not much movement. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande's "Defying Gravity" holds the top spot for the 4th week overall, with "What Is This Feeling?" right behind it at #2. "Juno" by Sabrina Carpenter rises back up to #3, and "The Wizard And I" by Cynthia Erivo and Michelle Yeoh jumps a spot to #4 off its debut. Finally, "Popular" by Ariana Grande falls back a bit to #5.

We have 2 debuts this week, both of which are K-pop collaborations: "Strategy" by TWICE featuring Megan Thee Stallion at #16, and "Baby It's Both" by ILLIT featuring Ava Max at #19. We do finally say goodbye to the last of the holiday songs, as "buy me presents" by Sabrina Carpenter makes its exit after spending 2 weeks at #1 over Christmas.
