4. Jojo – Good to know (up 5)

5. Dermot Kennedy - Without fear (down 4)

6. Lady Gaga – Chromatica (down 3)

8. The Weeknd – After Hours (down 3)

9. Sam Fender - Hypersonic Missiles (down 5)

10. Dua Lipa – Future Nostalgia (down 4)

After a tense battle all week and partially due to watching the movie “Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga”; it is Demi Lovato who steals the number 1 position this week with “In The Mirror”, only narrowly ahead of Dermot Kennedy’s “Giants”. Dermot had been leading for the first 3 days of the week until Demi took over. Its her second number 1 this year alone after her previous chart topper with Sam Smith.

In a mammoth week of new entries (16 in total and not including the re-entry from Jojo), there were some big songs that left my top 40 including songs from Sam Fender, Dermot Kennedy, Sam Smith & Demi Lovato, Doja Cat, The Killers & The Weeknd. While “Blinding Lights” & “Physical” slipped out of the top 20 for the first time this year.

Meanwhile, Haim outsold the whole of the top 10 albums, easily getting to number 1 with their brilliant album “Women in Music Pt. III”. The album has 4 singles in this week’s top 40. Jessie Ware settles for number 2 and Alanis Morissette enters at 3 with the 25th Anniversary of “Jagged Little Pill” also amazingly having two of her classic singles from that album enter this week’s top 40.

Bubbling under the chart:

Freya Ridings – Lost Without you (re-entry)

Robyn – Missing u (re-entry)

Will Ferrell & My Marianne – Volcano Man

Jubel – Dancing In The Moonlight

Jawsh 685 x Jason Derulo – Savage Love

Jessie Ware – The Kill

Regard & Raye – Secrets (re-entry)

Nerina Pallot – Oh Berlin

For next week’s chart; there is a lack of big new releases (unless a surprise release comes out); the big collaboration of the week is the new single from Ellie Goulding & Lauv with “Slow Grenade”. There is the potential for a few of the songs “bubbling under the chart” to make an impact next week.

Other potential new entries next week:

AJ Tracey & Mabel

Christine & The Queens

Joel Corry ft MNEK

Hey Zack I am happy to see that stiff competition for a number 1 &2 I haven't listened to Demi Lovato!
I am happy to see reentry for Jojoba I guess because of the video?
I like the debuts "Girlfriend "
,"past life", "Love Somebody ","How You like that "& of course " Heaven on my mind " nearly missing it's debut I'm happy to see that haha
I'm glad you gave HAIM good support its a nice album i had skipping to their singles although I liked Don't Wanna & their previous song " If I could change your mind " in 2014!
With Giants it wasn't a suprised I know you like "Dermot "!
As for next week I'm expecting Joel Corry & AJ Tracey with former being a cool UK Garage. The Weeknd Blinding Lights finally drops haha and Physical.
Superb chart looking forward to next week

Hey mate, yeah It was really close for the number 1 spot all week, I literally decided last minute as I couldnt choose between the two. Demi Lovato's songs was unexpected but its a great pop ballad. Yes, when I watch music videos, I tend to get like those songs again, or sometimes see those songs in a better light, hence the re-entry from Jojo. Its a great simple soulful video from Jojo. "Heaven on my mind" may grow on me, but had to make it just enter the chart for you lol. HAIM are really cool, plus happy to see them actually make the official album charts in the UK as number 1 too. Yes, "If I could change your mind" is a great song, love the intro to the video when they snap their fingers! Next week, Im not sure about Joel Corry but AJ Tracey and Mabel should impact the chart.

Hey Zack! :)
I love seeing all the debuts for HAIM & the new Eurovision movie! It's also cool that 'Heaven On My Mind' just about sneaks in too.
Good chart as usual!

Hi! In your chart, I particularly liked the entries for "Girlfriend" and "Heaven On My Mind"! From your Bubbling under I liked "Savage Love" and especially "Secrets". And for the songs with potential to get into your chart, my favorites are those of Ellie Goulding & Lauv, AJ Tracey & Mabel and Joel Corry ft MNEK! Good job overall, and please check mine!
