Congratulations to The Killers who have their very first number 1 ever on my chart with “My Own Soul’s Warning”. The surprise release of “Black Parade” by Beyonce almost caught up to The Killers but settled with a respectable new entry at no.2. Last week’s number 1 single “Surrender” by Natalie Taylor slipped to number 3. It was a week of new singles related to “Black Lives Matter”; as well as the release from Beyonce, there were also big top 5 new entries for H.E.R & Alicia Keys.

Meanwhile Dermot Kennedy climbed back up to number 1 yet again with his excellent album “Without Fear” which may end up staying in the top 10 for the rest of the year. New albums from John Legend and Black Eyed Peas missed out on the top 10.

Bubbling under the chart:

Jojo- Small Things (re-entry)

Regard & Raye – Secrets (re-entry)

Dermot Kennedy is back with a new single “Giants”. He has had multiple hits on my chart from his album “Without Fear” which has just returned back to the top spot. Can “Giants” become his first number 1 single on my chart? Charlie Puth returns with the summery feels single “Girlfriend”. Meanwhile Lauv returns with a new EP, not eligible for my album chart but may have potential new entries on the top 40.

The big album release comes from Haim with “Women in Music Part III”. Expect it to contend for the number 1 album spot next week and potential album tracks to chart in the top 40. Jessie Ware also releases her album “What’s your pleasure” and may also give Haim some competition. Meanwhile Alanis Morrisette releases her 25th Anniversary edition of her epic album “Jagged Little Pill”. Could some of her classic singles chart the top 40 too?

Other potential new entries next week:

G-Eazy

Becky Hill & Sigala

Trevor Daniel & Selena Gomez

Kesha

Grace Davies

Megan Thee Stallion

Jonas Blue ft MAX

Dannii Minogue

Dominic Fike

Hie Zack I didnt expect the debut from Black parade it's good though! I like seeing the gains for Don't Rush & Stuck With U, & the new entry Of Nial horan remix song & reentry of First Man .What is taking you back to that song haha? ?
As for the new songs I'm so obesseed with the Becky Hill song againthe Trevor Selena Gomez song & Jonas blue are potential yet to listen to some
As John legend album i wasn't impressed he can do better than that not judgemental though. I'm happy to see Dermot Kennedy song it's a potential next week too I see his album still in the chart impressie though happy to see the endurance

Hey Brandon, yeah i like beyonce's lyrics - "rubber bullets bouncing off me"..., the song is great. Camilla relased the video for the single "first man" for fathers day last week, although i think the video has gone private as it is meant for her father. I also realised after that Demi Lovato & BlackPink have also released singles too. Im getting into Dermot Kennedy's new single and Haim's album at the moment! Thanks for the comment

Hey Zack!
Nice to see "My Own Soul's Warning" and "Black Parade" get the top 2 debuts!
I also like the other debut for "Moral Of The Story" and the re-entry for "First Man"!
Great to see Dermot Kennedy, Charlie Puth, HAIM and Becky Hill & Sigala possibly debut next week for you!
Great chart!
