The Biggest Songs Of The Week!

TOP 10 ALBUMS of the week

1. The Killers – Imploding the mirage (non mover)

2. Taylor Swift – Folklore (non mover)

3. Katy Perry – Smile (new entry)

4. Jojo – Good to know (up 6)

5. Dua Lipa – Future Nostalgia (down 1)

6. The Weeknd – After Hours (up 1)

7. Ellie Goulding – Brightest Blue (down 4)

8. Dermot Kennedy - Without fear (down 2)

9. Alanis Morissette – Such Pretty Forks In The Road (down 4)

10. Madonna – The Immaculate Collection (re-entry)

Both the top 2 singles and albums hold firm on this week’s chart. London Grammar remain at number 1 with “Baby it’s you” keeping out Kiesza from climbing to number 1 with “Crave” who remains at number 2 for a second week. BLACKPINK & Selena Gomez score the highest new entry this week with “Ice Cream”. It is BLACKPINK’S 3rd top 40 hit on my chart who lead the battle against their K-Pop counterparts BTS who have only had one top 40 hit on my chart.

The Killers remain at number 1 on the album chart with “Imploding the mirage” although the gap is closing against current number 2 album “folklore” by Taylor Swift. Katy Perry settled with a new entry at number 3 with “Smile” and quite a few tracks entering the top 40 singles chart. The deluxe edition of “Good to know” allows Jojo to climb up to number 4, again with multiple new entries. Despite Dua Lipa releasing a remix album, her album slips down to number 5 but continues to have two singles within the top 40.

Bubbling under the chart:

Tate McRae – You broke me first

Topic ft A7S & Lil Baby – Why do you lie to me?

Potential new entries next week:

Foxes – Friends in the corner (3rd release this year, potential top 5 entry next week?)

Sigala ft James Arthur – Lasting Lover (intrigued to hear the MGMT sample on this!)

Paloma Faith – Better than this (could battle for top 20 spot next week?)

Ava Max – OMG What’s happening

Jawsh 865 ft Lauv & Tyga – Sweet & Sour (hopefully not annoying like Savage Love?)

Monica ft Lil Baby – Trenches (Monica is back following Brandy’s comeback this year)

New albums:

There are no major new albums out over the next week to my liking. This means that The Killers and Taylor Swift will be battling for number 1 yet again next week.

Hi Zack!
Nice to see "Baby It's You" at #1 and the debuts for "Over Now" and "Cry About It Later"!
Can't wait to see where "Friends In The Corner" and "Lasting Lover" will land in your chart next week!
Great chart!

Her Sergej, hope u enjoyed your time in Italy? Thanks for your comment. After I posted my chart, I realised that Birdy and Sza have also released singles too which will do well next week. Will check out yours

Great things this week Top 10 !is a bit steady!
Interesting one of your debuts Ice cream it just irritates me and like it at the same time .not sure
I'm happy to see Katy Perry she was bubbling Under mine i guess it's a personal album like Brandy they don't care about their music charts some maturity!
I am happy of course to see Jojo all of the tracks I love of all them especially Love Reggae &Kiss are my favourites. The album is quality and welll produced
i haven't listened to that Celeste I missed eish will listen to it !
Incredible chart this week as always

Yeah, there was no major big tracks this week. I do prefer BlackPink over BTS. BlackPink's dance moves are amazing in some of their previous videos. I think i wanted to like it due to the Selena collaboration. But it won't hang around in the top 10. Katy Perry's album was better than I had anticipated. I think "Only Love" was a highlight. "Not the end of the world" should be re-released as a remix, perhaps with a rapper eg DaBaby, sounds like something off her previous albums. Out of Jojo's new songs, of course I had to pcik the Demi collab, but "in your room" was one of my highlights. "Kiss" grew on me later. Will probably have to wait as long time for any new stuff for her in the long run. The Celeste song is decent! Oh, also other new releases next week include big comebacks from Birdy and Sza!
