Congratulations to London Grammar who are this week’s number 1. They are one of my favourite bands and their single “Baby it’s you” has the biggest climb on my top 40 this year, climbing from last weeks no.40 (after only 2 days release) up to this week’s number 1. I’m really looking forward to their new album.

Kiesza was the biggest challenger this week with “Crave” climbing up to number 2. If you still have not heard it, you need to check it out... insanely catchy!

Taylor Swift finally gets knocked off the album charts dropping to number 2. The Killers enter straight in at number 1 with “Imploding the mirage”. Meanwhile, after spending almost 8 consecutive months in the top 10, Sam Fender finally drops out of the album top 10 with “Hypersonic Missiles”. Don’t rule out the album returning to the top 10 though!

Bubbling under the chart:

Mariah Carey & Lauryn Hill – Save the day

Tate McRae – You broke me first

Katy Perry – what makes a woman

Drake ft Lil Durk – Laugh now cry later

Potential new entries next week:

Calvin Harris & The Weeknd – Over Now (huge collaboration but depends how good the song is! Possible contender for no.1 next week?)

Dua Lipa tracks from her remix album? Climber for “Physical” remix with G.Stefani?

BlackPink & Selena Gomez – Ice Cream (expect the new video to challenge with BTS)

Amy Macdonald – The Hudson (love her voice)

Topic ft A7S & Lil Baby – Why do you lie to me?

Rudimental ft Anne Marie & Tion Wayne – Come Over

Celeste – Little Runaway

Ty Dolla $ign ft Nicki Minaj - Expensive

Tiwa Savage ft Sam Smith - Temptation

Alexandra Burke ft Beenie Man – Naturally

Also: Album tracks from Katy Perry, Jojo & Disclosure

New albums:

Katy Perry has a brand new album with “Smile”. In the past, I would have said that it would easily get to number 1, but her popularity has declined despite some decent singles with “Never Really Over” & “Daisies”. Could Katy Perry be next week’s album number 1?

A new remix album from Dua Lipa and a deluxe album from Jojo could do big things next week. Both currently already in the top 10 album chart and may be climbers! Otherwise The Killers & Taylor Swift may have a big battle for number 1 album next week.

Hie Zack
I am not suprised by London Gramar that I knew it.
I am not familiar with THE KILLERS sounds like alternative rock!
I haven't heard Kiesza song thanks for recommendingit .
Interesting there Tick Tock as your highest debut!

I am happy to see other debuts like Breaking Me though it took a while wondering why?
Also interesting for Ain't it different! And Iggy Azalea& Tinashe almost missing the chart! Taylor folklore finally falls off any chance of going back?
I like seeing Wap returning to its peak!
A lot of new albums and singles to consume this week I'm happy to see Jojo & Demi lovato on that collaboration and also Tinashe
Great chart

Hey...The Killers are huge in the UK. Yes, your right, they are an american rock band but their sound is different, and this album has a heavy 80s influence too. I like their style. That Kieza song is so catchy, see if u like it. I didn't like "Breaking Me" when it first charted months ago, indeed finally i have liked it in the past week...and it could climb. Just in time for their new single. "Ain't it different" brings back memories with some of the samples used in their song. Remember Crazy Town - "Butterflies"? I havnt really been feeling the new Iggy/Tinashe song. This weeks album chart is tough to call, a battle between The Killers, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Jojo and Dua Lipa. Have to say though, I am very dissappointed with Dua Lipa's remix album, it just seems like a rush job to me. The big names on the tracks just are not enough. You probably feel different? The remix to "Physical" is awful. But maybe I need to listen again! Lol, even though "WAP" is trash, "theres some whores in this house" just keeps sticking in my head lol. Had no idea they sampled it off an old track! Still listening to all the new songs this week, I have not yet had a chance to check out Jojo & Katy Perry. I knew about Demi Lovato collaboration, did not realise about Tinashe until yesterday and she has a couple of other news songs too! Just heard Celeste's new song, its not bad!

Not familiar with Butterflies song sorry haha I'm listening to new songs too haha that Dua Lipa album it's okay to uplift mood not for chart purposes I don't think any song will impact liked it still especially BREAK my heart extended one! I m listening to Toni Braxton now will move on to Kem's
