Sergej's Personal Chart 06.07.2023

I apologize in advance, if the charts lately have been mostly consistent of songs dropping places and the gains rising a few places, I have been very busy in recent weeks and I'll be very busy in the next few weeks until probably the summer holidays in August, also been dealing with personal problems lately too, but I am hoping that I'll continue to publish these charts in maybe an Airplay-style format/what I loved listening to in the week. But I'll try my best to keep on going with my charts. So bare with me.

But enough of my personal issues, let's get on with what you really want to see. My recent chart week.

In a close battle for the top spot, thanks to a burst of virality, "ITALODISCO" by The Kolors finally reached the final step and took the #1 this week. Although again, "Paradise" by Sophie and the Giants & Purple Disco Machine and "DISCO PARADISE" by Fedez, Annalisa & Articolo 31 while they fell to #2 & #3 respectfully, they are still big contenders with the recent video release and momentum.

But, they have competition thanks to the 2 gainers this week, a surprising gain and top 5 entry for "Aperol Im Glas" by LEA, 01099, Gustav & Zachi, which rises to #4 this week, a gain of 13 places. "Aperol" joins the likes of Pina Colada, Red Wine, Tequila and Juice as the fifth song with a drink title in the top 5. Another song which gained was "Overcome" by Nothing But Thieves rising to #5, thanks to the album release and recent radio adds.

Alice Merton continues rising with "Charlie Brown" to #7, while both ClockClock's "Over" and Madame's "ARANCIATA" join the top 10 at #9 & #10 respectfully.

The biggest debut this week comes from the comeback by Olivia Rodrigo. "Vampire" debuts at #8, making it Olivia's highest charting song in her career.

Other songs debuting this week come from: Twocolors/Safri Duo/Chris De Sarandy, Kylie Minogue, Lil Uzi Vert, Alok & Ava Max, Ernia/Bresh/Fabri Fibra, Martin Solveig & Faouzia, Post Malone and Topic.

Hey Sergej!

Great to see 'Cupid' rising once again this week, and '0800 Heaven' and 'Satellite.'

Hoping that '2 Dumb Kids' will reach the Top 50 soon, it looks like it will have a similar run to 'Cupid' with more large rises.

Good to see 'Psychedelic Kisses' and 'Cha Cha Cha' as well.

Great chart, take care

Here's the link to my latest chart if you wish to check it out: OZCON's Top 20 - July 7th | Charts | Crownnote

Hey Sergej! :)

Glad to see debuts for 'Vampire', 'Padam Padam', 'Car Keys (Ayla)', 'Now Or Never', 'Mourning' & 'Lucid Dream'.

Good chart!

Hi Sergej!

nice to see vampire debut in the top 10! i also like seeing it goes like and cupid rise!

nice chart! take care :)

Sorry to hear about your personal issues but hope it all gets better for you soon. I note that Olivia enters straight to your top 10. "Padam Padam" finally enters at no.43. I like that theres plenty of Maisie Peters songs in your chart!

Hey there Sergej!

Although I can only comment on your chart, the same Thursday it was published I was listening to your chart and -of course- I liked it a lot.

I was surprised that "Paradise" gave way to "ITALODISCO" after two weeks at #1, however both are very nice songs. I wonder if The Kolors will stay on top. Anyway "The First Look Chart" next week looks interesting.

Big jump and welcome "Aperol im Glas" to the Top 5, it's a very good sounding song. "Overcome" is also a great song whose style reminds me of the best of the 80's. Will they both have a chance to keep going up? Equally welcome "Over" and "Aranciata" to the Top Ten.

I like to see that we both coincide in having "(It Goes Like) Nanana" in the Top 20, on my chart it will be a lot to talk about in the coming weeks. For its part, "Cupid" continues to gain space, as do "Waterfall" and "Caballero". Unlike my chart, "Makeba", "Never Look Back" and "I Found Her" have slow but steady growth. I've just stopped to listen more carefully to "Hollywood" and it's a pretty decent sounding song. I say the same about "Was Weißt Du Schon", I like the way it sounds, it's a song that can't go unnoticed.

My Italian song of the week is "Ci Pensiamo Domani", although it's already falling. Maisie Peters had a modest week with "Run" and "Wendy" and a huge loss with "Want You Back" and "Coming Of Age." For its part, "Waves" is a nice song and I'm glad that "Spring" is taking a good leap. Unlike other Niall songs, I'm sad that "The Show" hasn't made much of an impact on the chart yet.

Among the debuts besides "Vampire", what a beautiful song "Cynical" is! I will be very attentive to see how high it can go. I'm glad to see the debuts of "Padam Padam" (something stuck on my chart these days), "Car Keys (Ayla)", "Now or Never" and "Mourning" (will it achieve the same success as Malone's "Chemical" ?).

I think it's not necessary to apologize for the rise and fall of some songs, it is something very natural. Remember, "your chart, your rules" :D

A hug and I will be attentive to a new and refreshing publication of Sergej's Personal Chart in the next hours ;)
