Hey Sergej! How have you been this week? :)
Regarding 'Body', it's now only the fifth song to hit at least 7 weeks at #1 since I began making my personal charts, which was in 2009! It probably won't pass 'Love Story's record, but it could very well break the tie with: 'Closer', 'Can't Stop The Feeling' & 'Uptown Funk' for the second longest #1 ever.
With 'Sweetener', don't worry, I was excited too, but the album only turned out to be barely decent. The only four songs I really liked from it were: 'Breathin', 'No Tears Left To Cry', 'Everytime' & 'God Is A Woman', but at least we can both agree we like the former!
I'm pleased that you like the three biggest debuts in my chart this week & yeah, I agree that 'Idol' is BTS' best song yet & I definitely recommend checking out those other songs you see in the Top 10 of my predictions, maybe even the entire album.
Of course I'll check out your new chart!
Thanks, see you soon.
Hey Piran! I like seeing 'Body' at #1 for a 7th(?) week, and I love that 'Be Alright' climbs to #2 and 'breathin' climbing to #3, as well as 'God is a woman' and 'everytime' reaching Top 10! It's crazy how we have the exact same 3 Ariana songs in our Top 10s! The debut for 'All I Am' and huge climb for 'Ocean' in the Top 10 are amazing as well. I really like the debuts for 'Promises' and 'Happier', as well as the re-entry for 'no tears left to cry'. The impact that BTS are set to have on your chart next week is crazy! I've never really been a fan of their music, but I think I might have to check out their newest album if that's the impact it can make on your chart! Great chart overall!
Hey Gameskiller! :)
That's right, seven week for 'Body' now! If it gets one more week at the top, it'll break the tie for the second longest #1 ever in the past nine years I've been doing these personal charts, although I doubt it'll pass 'Love Story'.
'Be Alright' might be a future #1, but BTS decrease its chances there, but both that & 'Breathin' should stick around in the Top 10 for a little while!
'Promises' will certainly gain next week, but not too sure on 'Happier', while 'Everytime' & 'God Is A Woman' should drop a fair bit & 'No Tears Left To Cry' might drop out completely sadly.
Yeah, I highly recommend checking out that new BTS album. If you're not really into much K-Pop, then 'Love Yourself: Answer' will be a good introduction to the genre!
I'm honestly not sure what'll happen to 'All I Am' in the coming weeks, but 'Ocean' probably hasn't peaked just yet.
See you soon & have a good week!
Hey Piran! Nice to see so much Ariana Grande in your top 40 and in the bubbling charts. Also nice to see Taste debut in the bubbling section though its unfortunate that Solo dropped out. Also not too fond of all the BTS for next week but its understandable and actually not surprising, I would give BTS some places as well. Finally, I love all the ABBA in your top 40 and the throwback section. Have a nice week and here's the link to my non-canon top 2 for the summer: http://crownnote.com/charts/mikael101/mikael101s-hot-20-songs-of-the-su…
Have a great week!
Hey Mikael! Really good to see you here. :)
Regarding Ariana's new album, those were honestly the only four songs from it that I like enough to come back to, as the rest of them were just decent at best or not for me!
Yeah, but at least 'Solo' had a good run, although I'm not too sure if 'Taste' is going to end up debuting for now, especially not with BTS just around the corner, because their chart impact tomorrow should be bigger than I expected, haha! I'm not sure how much of their new music is going to stick around though.
'Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again' is certainly helping those ABBA covers in the main chart & the originals in the throwback section!
I hope you have a nice week too & I'll check out that summer chart for yours right now.
Hey Naos! :)
I knew 'You Say' would be your favourite debut of the week & even though it's not going to get a lot higher, it might stick around in the Top 40 for at least a month, maybe even two.
'Breathin' should stick around the Top 10 for a fair while, although this might be the only appearance 'God Is A Woman' gets there sadly!
'No Tears Left To Cry' isn't going to last very long either, but at least it became Ariana's first ever #1 on my personal chart back when it was released.
I'll comment on your new chart now & reply to your comment on my latest one!
Great chart this week. I love seeing 'Breathin' and 'God Is A Woman' jump into the top ten, along with the debut for 'Everytime'! I don't mind seeing 'All I Am' and 'Eastside' in your top ten, but I haven't listened to them much. I just put up my latest chart if you want to check that out.
Thanks Sam! :)
'Breathin' should stick around in the Top 10 for a fair while, although I'm not sure it's a #1 contender at this point.
Unfortunately, both 'God Is A Woman' & 'Everytime' are likely to suffer losses from now on, although the former of these won't be anywhere near as fast as the latter!
Hopefully with a few more listens, 'All I Am' & 'Eastside' will continue to grow on you.
I'll check out your new chart now & I've uploaded a new one since if you fancy looking at that (there's a lot of BTS on there!).
Hello Piran!
Nice seeing "Body" at #1, "Breathin" in the top 3 (in my opinion, the only other song that I like about her album, I'm sorry, I was excited about her album, but it left me cold) and "Ocean" and "God Is A Woman" in the top 10!
From the debuts I like: "All I Am" (obviously), "Promises" (obviously) and "Happier"!
Also, I can't wait for the BTS takeover next week, haven't heard their new album yet, but I've heard "IDOL", it might be the best song BTS ever released, so catchy!
I think the other songs don't have a chance of gaining, because of BTS.
Hopefully you'll check out my chart as well!
Great chart as always, talk to you later!
