Bulgaria's Hottest 10 Singles (W/E 23/01/2020)

This is an unofficial chart, compiled by me, highlighting the 10 biggest tracks in Bulgaria right now. Due to the lack of an official Bulgarian singles chart, apart from an airplay only one, this is the closest thing we can get to a true representation of the musical landscape in the country. The data is based on Spotify/Apple Music streams, YouTube views, and airplay data, all coming from official sources.

Highlights of the week:

• In a very close battle for the top spot, Tones and I just edges out to remain at #1 for a 10th non-consecutive week, the longest for a chart-topper since 'Senorita' by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello managed 13th weeks last summer.
• That means Future and Drake's massive team-up on 'Life is Good', the lead single from their upcoming second collaborative mixtape, only manages to come in at #2, this week's highest new entry.
• Selena Gomez claims the #1 spot on the albums chart with 'Rare', the title track from that album starts at #3. The two previously released singles, 'Lose You to Love Me' and 'Look at Her Now', return to the top 40, leaping 43-18 and 59-20, respectively. In fact, almost the entirety of 'Rare' makes the top 100 this week - only two tracks don't make the cut.
• Roddy Ricch's 'The Box' has just become his first US No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and is looking to follow suit here as well - following his top 40 debut last week, it leaps 11-4.
• Travis Scott falls 2-5 with 'HIGHEST IN THE ROOM' and SAINt JHN's Roses reverts 3-6, despite a 15% increase in overall performance.
• Dua Lipa remains at 7 with 'Don't Start Now', also climbing to the top spot on the national radio airplay chart; meanwhile, Tyga's viral hit 'Ayy Macarena' backtracks 6-8.
• Rounding off the top 10, Justin Bieber's brand new 'Yummy' drops 4-9, and The Weeknd's 'Heartless' descends 5-10.
