Chart

Billboard Hot 30

This week, Ariana Grande stays at number one with "thank u, next" after it debuted last week at number one. "thank u, next" posts an increase in chart points as it has a full tracking week of streams after it debuted with only five days. While the sales for "thank u, next" are down, its radio bounds up in pop airplay. "thank u, next" fends off serious competition as Marshmello and Bastille's "Happier" struts into the number two spot. After a steady twelve week climb into the top tiers of the chart, "Happier" looks to challenge for the pinnacle position next week. While streaming numbers are down for "Happier", its radio airplay is its driving force to the top of the charts. In its nineteenth week on the chart, 5 Seconds of Summer hits a new peak with "Youngblood" as the song moves up to the number four spot. Although it has been decreasing in points for the past few weeks, "Youngblood" takes advantage of a weak chart as there is not much competition to push the song out of the top five. Another song to take advantage of a weak chart, "Drip Too Hard" falls two spots to number five. Thanks to the release of Lil Baby and Gunna's collaborative album, "Drip Too Hard" defied predictions that saw the song moving from number twenty-five into the top five, and shot to the top of the chart. The late XXXTENTACION collects another top ten hit with his own "BAD!", which debuts at number six, to go along with the number one hit "SAD!", the number one "Falling Down" with Lil Peep, and the number three "Don't Cry" with Lil Wayne.  Number one "Lucid Dreams" by Juice Wrld drops one spot to number seven, while another number one, "Zeze" reverses course for the first time since its debut as it rises one spot to number eight. "Girls Like You" by Maroon 5 reaches its lowest point in twenty-four weeks, as it drops two spots to number nine. "Girls Like You" debuted at number fourteen and then shot up to number seven, the song has not ranked lower than seven since this week. Imagine Dragons notch another top ten hit with "Natural" which rises two spots to hit number ten. "Natural", aided by the release of Imagine Dragons' new album Oirgins, follows "Whatever It Takes" as the band's second top ten hit. "Eastside", the debut single by benny blanco, featuring Halsey and Khalid, move onto the doorstep of the top ten as the song hikes two spots to number eleven. Khalid and Normani's enduring hit "Love Lies" falls out of the top ten for the first time in fourteen weeks as it drops from number ten to number twelve. Making big strides again this week is Halsey's "Without Me" which continues off of an increase in streaming follows a complete tracking week for the song's music video and a large jump in radio airplay. Halsey looks to gain her first and/or second top ten hits next week. While her song with benny blanco and Khalid moving into the doorstep of the chart at number eleven and continuing to gain in airplay, and "Without Me" also making big strides on streaming and airplay. With early projections, Halsey will at least get one top ten hit next week. Some more chart trivia, Halsey and Khalid rank at eleven with "Eastside", Khalid at twelve with "Love LIes", and Halsey at thirteen with "Without Me". Sheck Wes' "Mo Bamba" also strides up three spots to number fifteen off of a large increase in streaming numbers. While Ariana Grande ranks at number one, her own "God is a woman" drops down three spots to number seventeen as its radio numbers drop following its leadership of pop radio airplay. Ella Mai's "Trip" recovers up again after she jumped to number seventeen two weeks ago but then dropped to twenty as her streaming numbers decreased after the release of her debut album. Panic! at the Disco earns its first top twenty hit as "High Hopes" strides two spots to the number twenty spot. At number twenty-three is, Ariana Grande again, as her newest radio single strides into the top ten of the radio chart, and up four spots on the chart. After debuting at twenty-one off of streaming numbers from the debut of her album Sweetener, "breathin'" nears its peak position. Trippie Redd's new album sends cut "Topganda" onto the chart at number twenty-four, thus granting Trippie Redd his first entry onto the chart. After reentering the chart last week at twenty-eight, "Wake Up In The Sky" moves up three spots to number twenty five. Also, "Shallow" by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper is able to pass its previous debut position as it jumps three spots to twenty-six. While "Shallow" debuted at twenty-seven, it gained in chart points, but fell in chart positions due to competive weeks. Drake's "Nonstop" enjoys its last week on the chart as it will fall to recurrency in the coming week; nonetheless, "Nonstop" made it to twenty weeks after it debuted at number one and then fell down the chart into the high twenties. Cardi B's "Ring" featuring Kehlani debuts at number thirty as it moves into the top twenty in radio this week.
