Seemingly unstoppable, Antoon celebrates a third consecutive week at Number 1 with “Hallo”. The Dutch hit singer his new single already crowned the official national charts and has been a streaming success since its release. “Hallo” is further supported by strong playlisting and a new extended play of the same name. Antoon faces competition from Mimi Webb’s “House on Fire” and Rex Orange County his “Keep It Up”, both of which remain at #2 and #3 respectively. Tate McRae joins to battle for Number 1 as “She’s All I Wanna Be” moves up to a new peak at #4 this week.
Even though Antoon is still comfortably at Number 1 with “Hallo”, he already secures another Top 10-hit as “Hotelschool” jumps up seven places to a new peak at #6. The song is taken from the prementioned extended play Hallo. Upon release, “Hotelschool” went viral on TikTok and became a big success on Dutch streaming services. On this chart, “Hotelschool” is Antoon his fifth Top 10-hit. He previously enjoyed success with “Leuk” [#3] and the breakout chart-topper “Hyperventilatie”.
Further down, George Ezra joins the Top 10 with “Anyone For You (Tiger Lily)”, a truly typical George Ezra-song with all the happy feelings. The singer last appeared inside my Top 10 with “Come On Home For Christmas”, which peaked at #10 last Christmas, but then fell off the chart after the holidays passed. His last true big hits were “Shotgun” [#3] and “Paradise” [#1], which were both taken from his second studio album Staying At Tamara’s, released in 2018. “Anyone For You” is the first song taken from George Ezra’s third studio album, which will undoubtably spawn other hits.
While “She’s All I Wanna Be” reaches a new peak at #4 this week, Tate McRae adds another hit to her collection as “Chaotic” earns the top debut of the week. The new ballad is the third release from Tate’s upcoming debut studio album. The single was produced by Greg Kurstin, who also written and produced songs for Sia, Kelly Clarkson, Adele and Lily Allen. “Chaotic” becomes Tate McRae her sixth Top 40-hit, following “You Broke Me First” [#3], “You” [#20] and “Feel Like Shit” [#25].
Meanwhile, Becky Hill returns to the Top 40 at #31 with her new single “Run”, taken from the deluxe version of her debut album Only Honest on the Weekend. She is supported by Galantis, who last year scored the biggest hit of their career with “Heartbreak Anthem” [#2]. Finally, Kris Kross Amsterdam, Donnie and Tino Martin debut at #39 with their new single “Vanavond (Uit M’n Bol)”, a cover of the André Hazes-classic.
