Dutch rapper Antoon is unstoppable at Number 1 + Little Mix celebrate their 10-year anniversary

Dutch rapper Antoon remains unstoppable as “Hyperventilatie” enters a seventh consecutive week at Number 1. The disco-hip hop track is the most-streamed single of the week for another week with over 35 combined streams across all platforms. With seven weeks spent atop the list, “Hyperventilatie” becomes the longest-running Number 1-single of 2021, breaking its tie with Olivia Rodrigo’s “drivers license” and “good 4 u”, and, Snelle & Maan their “Blijven Slapen”. Meanwhile, The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber have to settle for second place for a third week, although their streaming numbers have remained stable. Dutch couple Suzan & Freek move up one place with their summer-inspired “Onderweg Naar Later”, completing the Top 3.

Only shortly after the successes of “Save Your Tears” and last year his juggernaut hit “Blinding Lights”, The Weeknd is surely looking at another hit with his new song “Take My Breath”. The song was last week its highest debut. The 80s-inspired synth song partially produced by Max Martin is the lead single of The Weeknd his upcoming fifth studio album. Upon release, the song received major acclaim from critics, with many positively comparing it to Donna Summer’s 1977-song “I Feel Love” and his pre-mentioned Number 1-single “Blinding Lights”. As his new single moves to Number 9, “Take My Breath” becomes The Weeknd his eleventh Top 10-hit.

At Number 19, Dutch singer and The Voice of Holland-winner Maan scores the highest debut of the week with “Niks Is Heilig”, an intimate pop song about finding a place free of judgement. The song is Maan her first solo release since 2020’s “Zo Kan Het Dus Ook Part 2”, following some very successful and high-profile collaborations, including the multi-platinum Number 1-hit “Blijven Slapen” with rapper Snelle. Although her collabs are fun and obvious successes, it is Maan her solo work where her emotions and voice shine best, good examples being “Jij Bent De Liefde” and “Ze Huilt Maar Ze Lacht”. Her newest single “Niks Is Heilig” is off to a great start, as the song debuts at Number 19, aided by strong opening streaming numbers.

At Number 25, Dutch singer Mart Hoogkamer scores an unexpected hit with the summer and Bacardi Lemon-inspired song “Ik Wil Zwemmen”. The single is a big hit on the Dutch Spotify Chart and is currently climbing up the official national chart. At Number 33, Silk Sonic enter with their second single “Skate”. Earlier this year, the duo - comprised of singers Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak - scored the acclaimed Number 2-hit “Leave The Door Open”. At Number 39, “Good As Hell”-singer Lizzo debuts with her comeback single “Rumours”. The song is her fifth Top 40-entry and features Number 1-rapper Cardi B.

10 years ago, British girl group Little Mix won the eighth season of UK’s The X Factor in 2011. Since then, the girls have scored back-to-back hits in the United Kingdom and various countries in Europe. To celebrate the anniversary, Little Mix decide to release their first ever greatest hits album: Between Us, an epic celebration of their success. On my personal chart, the girls have already left an incredible legacy. With thirty-one Top 40-hits, of which thirty reached the Top 10, Little Mix is one of the best-scoring girl bands of all time. Their debut single “Wings” shot to the top of the chart with incredible ease and marked their first Number 1-hit out of ten total. The 2016 kiss-off anthem “Shout Out to My Ex” is the girls’ biggest-scoring single to date; the song spent seven consecutive weeks atop the chart and was certified quadruple-platinum. Other notable successes include “Touch”, “Black Magic” and “Woman Like Me”, which all spent at least four weeks at Number 1. For the Top 10 highest-scoring Little Mix songs, check the list below this chart.

Hey Link! :)
'Hyperventilatie' continues its incredible run at #1 in your charts! Seven weeks now, haha.
I also love the climbs for 'Seventeen Going Under' & 'Take My Breath' in the Top 10!
Nice chart once again.
Take care!

Hey Piran! Thank you so much for the comment :) “Hyperventilatie” has had an incredible run, but if I look at my streaming numbers right now, “Stay” could overtake the current Number 1 next week. It’s a very close talk. “Seventeen Going Under” could reach a new peak next week! Have a great week :)

Hey Link! I am very satisfied with the fact that Antoon is still at #1. But I like even more that Sam Fender has reached the top 5! Hopefully Froukje will go up too. And of course there is Mart Hoogkamer. We can't get around it. It's a funny song but I wonder for how long :-) Have a nice week!

Hey Davyl! Antoon is still going strong, but “Stay” could overtake the Number 1-position next week. It will be a very close call. Sam Fender is doing very well and could reach an even higher peak next week. Froukje her new song is definitely a slow-burner right now, but it will stick around the Top 40 for a bit longer I think. And as for Mart Hoogkamer, such a great simple summer song. Have a great week ahead :)

How are you doing .It's great to see your chart im impressed by the longevity of Stay being blocked for a while like seeing new peaks into top 10 including Take My Breath, and as well as outside top 10 like ,Industry Baby ,Traitor and Need To Know .
Also liking the new entries of Skate ,Lizzo also as the lowest debut particularly looking forward if it can climb up the charts.
Interesting to see that Super Bass was number 1 around this time i liked how she rap and the flow

Hey Brandy! I’m going great, hope you’re good as well :) “Stay” could overtake Number 1 next week, they are going very strong right now. “Take My Breath” will also stay in the Top 10 for another week I think. It’s so weird to think that “Super Bass” was released ten years ago, it’s a classic for me. One of Nicki’s best. Have a great week ahead :)
