Congratulations to Natalie Taylor who has her very first number 1 with “Surrender” after climbing up the charts over the past 5 weeks. She is relatively unknown, but the song originally released 5 yrs ago got a second life after featuring on tik tok. I noticed it was doing well on itunes, listened to it and fell in love with the track! Ella Henderson was close behind entering at no.2 with “Take care of you”. She last reached these positions with her number 1 debut “Ghost”. The song is uplifting with a catchy chorus! Meanwhile Tom Walker reaches a peak position in my charts at no.3 with his new single “Wait for you”. DaBaby slips down from no.1 to no.5.

Meanwhile Kodaline knocked off Kygo to reach no.1 with their new album “One day at a time”.

Bubbling under the chart:

Lauren Ruth Ward – Pictures of you

The Killers lead the way for next week’s new releases with their new single “My own soul’s warning”. Following hits on my chart including “Caution” (still in my top 40 after 3 months” and “Fire in Bone”, they release a catchy number that may have odds for a top 10 new entry next week. Alicia Keys is back following her recent number 1 on my chart “ Good job”, with the release of “Perfect way to die”. Ashe teams up with Niall Horan with “Moral of the story” which didn’t make my chart first time round but may get a second chance.

On the album front, John Legend & Black Eyed Peas both release new albums and will be looking to break into the top 10.

Other potential new entries next week:

H.E.R

Duffy

J. Cole

Usher ft Tyga

G-Eazy

Hie Zack
I like seeing Ella henderson & Tom walker debut in a competitive way!
I like seeing an old song atop the chart! I like the reentry of Don't Rush I guess due to Dababy Remix?
I like the endurance of Blinding Lights i guess it's your favourite leading #2020
I like the Tommy Lee it is a fair song of course it's bubbling Under on my chart!
Kodaline I am not familiar with him/her/them but it's great they occupying impressively on your chart! loving the gains for Physical & If the world was ending with of course the former enduring in the chart!
Impressed with the album charts especially a new debut atop of course endurance of "Dermot kennedy " as well as Jojo glad she's still among your playlist as for next week I'm sure John legend will debut am listening to all new releases will have to wait which ones will debut for me
OtherwiseI'm impressed with your chart this week! !!!!

Hey mate, yes, the DaBaby remix allowed the re-entry for "Don't Rush", which has now reached a peak of 11 and i'm liking it even more now. There havnt been any big artists releases for a while so "Blinding Lights" is having a easy job of staying in the top 10/20. I only listened to "Tommy Lee" as post malone was featured on it, not a bad track but dont think its going to climb next week. Kodaline are an Irish band, i really like their old stuff. Its cool that your noticing the endurance of "Blinding lights", "Physical" and Dermot Kennedy. Thanks for your comments as always. Time to check out your chart...

Hi Zack!
Nice to see the debut for "Wait For You" in the top 3 and the return for "Don't Rush" thanks to DaBaby!
Great chart!
