Dutch singer Jaap Reesema and Belgian actress-singer Pommelien Thijs, best known from the tv-series #LikeMe, open the new year at Number 1 with the duet “Nu Wij Niet Meer Praten”. The single spends a second consecutive week atop the chart, fighting off strong competition from Miley Cyrus & Dua Lipa. The duet is also a big success in both the Netherlands and Flemish Belgium, aided by strong airplay and big streaming numbers.
This week’s Top 10 features no new entries, although some singles do achieve new peak positions. Little Mix their “Sweet Melody” rebounds to the third position, while Ariana Grande her newest single “34+35” reaches a new peak at Number 5. Ariana Grande also claims gold status with her Number 1-single “positions”, as the chart-topper claimed more than 40,000 points this week. British-Greek singer Marina peaks at Number 8 with her inspiring “Man’s World”, rising two slots when compared to last week’s chart.
Sam Fender claims the highest debut of the week with “Winter Song”, which is a cover song taken from English folk band Lindisfarne's debut studio album Nicely Out of Tune. The new single enters at Number 23 and marks the English singer his sixth entry on this list. He previously topped the charts twice with “Hypersonic Missiles” and “All Is On My Side”. He additionally claimed big hits with “Play God” and “Will We Talk?”
The Top 40 sees a lot of change, as multiple singles achieve new peak positions. Ed Sheeran, Tabitha featuring BLOF’s Paskal Jakobsen, Jason Derulo and Lil Nas X all enter the Top 20 with promising new songs. Just outside the Top 10 remain MEDUZA featuring Dermot Kennedy, Justin Bieber his honest new “Lonely” and Little Mix with DJ Nathan Dawe. Other new entries this week include “Goosebumps” by HVME, “Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes” by Ofenbach and, finally, “Willow" by Taylor Swift.

Hey Davyl! Yes, finally, it took me so long to post all the charts. I think it almost took me a whole year. I saw “Nu Wij Niet Meer Praten” rose on your chart this week, maybe it could reach a new peak in a couple of weeks, who knows! Sam Fender’s debut was a bit late, but I did not have the time to check out “Winter Song” up till last week. I think it’s going to rise some more the upcoming week, because it doesn’t really feel like Christmas song although it is and Sam Fender always scores well on my lists. We’ll see :)
Hey Link! :)
It's awesome to see so many Dutch language songs here! It's actually one of the languages I listen to most outside of English, in terms of music.
As for the English songs here, I love seeing Dua Lipa with multiple singles in the Top 10!
The climb for 'Without You' is also awesome, as are the debuts for 'Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes' & 'Whoopty'.
Nice chart!
I'll be sure to check in again next week too! Take care.
Thank you so much! Dua Lipa had a great run on my chart last year, scoring three Number 1s and six Top 10s in total. “Without You” is in for a great jump this week, maybe even a first Top 10-position. I’ll be checking your chart, excited to see if Ed Sheeran or The Kid Laroi gets that #1 :)

Hey Link! You are finally up to date :-) I really like to see your current list after all those months of waiting ;-) "Nu Wij Niet Meer Praten" doesn't really appeal to me but it's a great song. I also like the debut for Sam Fender although it's a bit late for a Christmas-song.
