The Biggest Songs Of The Week!

Kate Bush holds onto the no.1 spot for a 4th consecutive week on my singles chart with “Running up that hill”, despite big competition from MUNA and Taylor Swift. It holds the most consecutive weeks at no.1 for any track this year.

MUNA edge out Chris Brown and gain the no.1 album position in a week of changes to the album top 10 also contributed by the aftermath of Glastonbury.

Sam Fender benefits from his acclaimed set at Glastonbury with a climb for his album and single named “Seventeen Going Under” which almost approaches one year on the top 40.

Longest chart runners:

  1. Sam Fender – 17 going under (51 consecutive weeks)
  2. Sam Fender – Get You Down (32 non consecutive weeks)
  3. Tate McRae – She’s all I wanna be (21 consecutive weeks)
  4. Griff & Sigrid – Head on Fire (19 non consecutive weeks)
  5. Camila Cabello & Ed Sheeran – Bam Bam (17 consecutive weeks)
  6. Sam Fender – Spit Of You (17 non consecutive weeks)
  7. Ella Henderson – Emotions (16 consecutive weeks)

Next week, look out for new singles from Dermot Kennedy, Cardi B (with Kanye/Lil Durk), Mabel, RAYE, Rina Sawayama, Sabrina Carpenter, Calvin Harris ft 21 Savage, Grace Davies, Kygo, Lauv and finally Tiesto & Charli XCX.

Hi there Zack!
Nice to see "BREAK MY SOUL" and "Seventeen Going Under" getting huge gains, the return for "Head On Fire" and the debuts for "Carolina" and "Left and Right".
Great chart!

Hi! I liked seeing "BREAK MY SOUL" climbing to the top 5 and the debut for "Left and Right". It's sad to see "Don't You Worry" leaving so fast - it feels nostalgic for me as it could be the new "I Gotta Feeling", but great chart, overall!
I published my comeback chart, so check it out!

Hey Amit, good to hear from you. Its strange how Black Eyed Peas used to be so huge and now they barely make a dent on the chart. It was a catchy track but yes it is very similar to "I got a feeling"

Wow wow interesting to see 80s song obviously the series which is one of most high in audience and soundtrack of course did you know she has earned more than 2.3 million royalties within a short period. Interesting to see two debuts behind it of course another soundtrack from Taylor Swift..

Like seeing the huge jump by Beyonce into the top 5 . I'm impressed by the longevity of Energy in the top 10 im sure it hasn't exited the top 10 since its arrival. I didn't think you would have rooted his album interesting to see Psychic  as the highest performing from the album what about the officials singles you didn't feel em.Sex memories it entered because of Ella mai lol .Camila Cabelo is doing great on your chart. Psychofreak has turned out to be the favorite that's more of alternative song willow s part brought energy i like her verse .Bam Bam 17 weeks that's huge .Wow finally next week will be celebrating your first ever song to spent a full i guess i influenced to have some songs on your playlist for a while .

Yes, I heard Kate Bush is making money, a good move on her allowing them to use her track when they approached her. Who would have thought it would be a worldwide hit all those years later. Beyonce's track is growing on me, although I hope her album is not all dance and that she goes back to her roots. Still find "Energy" remix very catchy, it spent all but one week in the top 10 (as it climbed back). It might drop on the next chart though. "Psychic" did well as I love the Cassie sample "me and you" on the track. Yes, I love Ella Mai's vocals, and its a nice summery track with Chris Brown. Yeah, prefer some of his other album tracks, and the HER collab is not bad too. I really like Willow Smith's part on pyschofreak which adds some fire to the track, its surprised me how well shes done with both tunes on my chart. There have been other singles that have spent over a year on my chart, including "Blinding lights" by the Weekend (I think it was under 60 weeks). Before crown note, there were other songs that spent a year on the chart like "Hozier - take me to church", dont know if you remember that track from a few years back?
