Supported by the release of her tenth studio album Midnights and sky-high streaming figures, Taylor Swift secures a Number 1-debut with the lead single “Anti-Hero”. The upbeat synth-pop hit claims the biggest opening numbers of the year so far, surpassing Harry Styles his Number 1 “As It Was” in May. The single is my personal most-streamed song of the week, while Midnights has quickly become one of my most-streamed albums of the year so far. “Anti-Hero” marks Taylor Swift her first Number 1-song since 2015’s “Wildest Dreams” debuted atop the chart. It also marks her first Top 10-entry since 2017’s iconic diss-track “Look What You Made Me Do” debuted at #5. In total, “Anti-Hero” is Taylor Swift’s fifth Number 1-song. She dethrones Lewis Capaldi’s “Forget Me”, which spent one week atop the chart.
Meanwhile, Mimi Webb jumps up twenty-five places with “Ghost of You”, reaching a new peak at #5. The single is taken from Webb her upcoming debut album Amelia – the singer her real name – which is set to be released in March next year. The album also features “House on Fire”, which shot to Number 1 on my personal list and became Mimi Webb her best-scoring single to date. The new “Ghost of You” is also proving to become a success, as its new peak at #5 marks Mimi Webb her second highest-peak on my chart to date. Her previous Top 10-successes include her breakout “Good Without” [#8] and the underrated “24/5” [#10]. With her streams increasing and playlist support, the British hitmaker is surely looking at another hit.
Further down, BRITs winner Holly Humberstone claims a new personal best as “Scarlett” peaks at #12 this week. Steve Lacy continues to climb the Top 20 with his sleeper hit “Dark Red”, finishing at #13, while Anne-Marie & Aitch move up to #16 with their spirited collaboration “Psycho”. FLEMMING & Ronnie Flex their “Terug Bij Af” proves to still have some life, as the single returns to the Top 20 again. Irish favourite Dermot Kennedy rounds out the Top 20 with the lovely “Kiss Me”, earning him his fifth Top 20-entry on my personal chart.
Joel Corry & Tom Grennan debut at #27 with their surprising collaboration “Lionheart (Fearless)”. The two have been buzzing to collaborate for some time now. The song has a different sound when compared to Joel Corry his earlier song such as “BED” or “I Wish”, which more or less all sound like his breakout Number 1 “Head & Heart”. The new “Lionheart (Fearless)” is still very much your typical pop-EDM cross-over, yet Tom Grennan his raw vocals add a new depth. Supported by stable streaming figures, it debuts at #27 this week, earning Joel Corry his eighth Top 40-hit while Tom Grennan earns his seventh.
Norwegian pop singer Sigrid appears at #33 with “Blue”, taken from the extended edition of Sigrid her second album How to Let Go. Meanwhile, Ellie Goulding debuts at #38 with her newest “Let It Die”, a much more independent-sounding song when compared to its predecessor “Easy Lover”. While easily playable on radio, it showcases a much stronger personality. Finally, Dutch independent-singers Bente & MEAU team up for the soft ballad “Als Geen Ander”, rounding out the debuts at #39 this week. We have last heard Bente on the Top 20-song “Nee Is Nee” with Maan, while MEAU is best known for her Number 1 “Dat Heb Jij Gedaan” although she is yet to score a proper follow-up hit.

Hi Link!
Nice to see "Anti-Hero" get the top spot with it getting the biggest numbers of the year in your chart, I also like the big gains for "Ghost Of You" and "Free Yourself" and the debuts for "Lionheart", "Blue" and "Let It Die".
Great chart!
