Chart note for next week: It'll be a Eurovision takeover with 40 Eurovision 2024-related tracks including all 37 of the competing entries. Expect an earlier drop of the morning (EDT) on Tuesday, May 7th (possibly even Monday the 6th) to be published before the first Eurovision Song Contest Semi-Final.

I finally saw 'Anyone But You' this week as it hit streaming. I can finally see the complete reason now that we've all been subjected to a 19-year-old Natasha Bedingfield song recently!
Mike Pinder, a founding member and the original keyboard player of the rock group The Moody Blues sadly passed away on April 24th at the age of 82

Glad you like the Eurovision hits. There's gonna be a whole lot more of where that came from next week!

I think the 'Espresso' release has coincided perfectly to take us into the Summer Season and it's likely to be around the top of the charts for many weeks yet. Just sounds so good right now! I'm also pleased I was able to see 'Too Sweet' garner a Top 15 berth. An unexpected yet welcome UK Official Chart topper.

'Rim Tim Tagi Dim' and all it's ESC friends will likely only have one more week to peak, possibly two based on the actual performance but we're almost done with Eurovision Season and can get into Summer Season!

Next week's chart is all Eurovision. Unfortunately, I think 'Too Sweet' has likely already peaked but 'Red Wine Supernova' is currently looking at a massive gain for the May 16th edition. It looks like it could hit the Top 5 outpacing her current single 'Good Luck, Babe' which is also looking at a nice re-entry position on the 16th.

'Espresso' continues to hit the sweet spot needed to welcome the Summer Season which on my calendar begins on May 12th. It'll drop out the chart for Eurovision next week but has a high probability to be my first none-consecutive weeks multiweek #1 on May 16th.
