Calum PK7's Official Top 40!!

These are basically my 40 favourite songs! Updated weekly. The rule is that each song has to have been in either the Official UK Top 40 or the Vodafone Big Top 40. Enjoy!

This week, Camila Cabello and Young Thug get a third week at #1 with Havana. Out Of Love and Know No Better remain just behind, and Maroon 5 and Sza's What Lovers Do climbs to #4. Lonely Together climbs to #7 and Post Malone makes his first top 10 appearance with Rockstar at #9.

This week's highest new entry is Anne-Marie with Heavy at #12, closely followed by Kygo's Stargazing at #14. Expect both to climb into the top 10 over the coming weeks. Marshmello and Khalid climb to #15, and there are also climbs for Big Shaq, Ed Sheeran and Cardi B, but this week's highest climber is Mabel with Finders Keepers, climbing 10 to #26. Post Malone enters at #27 with I Fall Apart, and Khalid makes his third appearance at #31, entering with Young, Dumb & Broke. Finally, Chris & Kem's Little Bit Leave It enters at #33.

That's about it for this week, hope you enjoyed my chart! :D

Good chart as usual Calum! :)
I love seeing 'Havana' remain at #1, but it's also cool that: 'What Lovers Do', 'Lonely Together' & 'Rockstar' hit new peaks inside the Top 10.
'Stargazing' reached either the Official Charts Top 40 or the Big Top 40? I can't recall seeing it on either chart, but it's awesome that you like it so much!
Now here's my rating of your debuts: 'Heavy' (6/10), 'Stargazing' (8/10), 'I Fall Apart' (6/10), 'Young, Dumb & Broke' (5/10) & 'Little Bit Leave It' (6/10).
I see you've just commented on my chart too, so I'll reply to you there shortly!
Have a good week & I'll see you soon.

Hey Piran, yeah, Stargazing got into the Big Top 40 on its first week eligible, along with Heavy. but obviously the latter then went on to hit the OCC top 40 too!
bit disappointing you don't really like any of my debuts besides Stargazing though, what would you say is what you don't like about them? I also realise that I am so behind that you may have liked them more at the time lol :P
so yeah, ive decided to make the most of this weekend as I had literally nothing to do, but I wont be quite as quick during the week lol, although ill try to do at least a couple more!
ill check out your reply now, and hope you have a good week! :)

Oh awesome! Are you listening to the Big Top 40 right now then?
Regarding those other debuts, it's not that I dislike them, but they didn't really have anything special to them to give them a high replay factor for me.
I've got a really busy weekend, as I'm finishing my last couple of assignments of the semester before the Christmas break!
When I get a bit more free time next week, I have something special planned to post on Billboard & Official Charts, but I'll keep it a surprise for now.
I hope your studies & music are going well by the way!

Nah, I'm listening to Man City v West Ham lol ;)
I have noticed recently that Big Top 40 is a bit different to before though. it used to have the live top 10, but now it seems not to...?
like I remember Havana only got one week at #1 when it should've had 3, and Too Good At Goodbyes and Gorgeous were for some reason #1 in its place. do you know if they had any kind of rule change?
oh okay, I'll look forward to that something special! can you maybe direct me the link to it on Billboard when you've done it? I don't often have much free time, and I'm not really sure the exact time you all go on there lol :)
well, I don't know my keyboard exam result yet, ill maybe get it sometime this week, and ive got a 'results day' on Wednesday where I find out all my mock results! I'm sure ive done fine though. what about you? :)

Haha, okay, what's the score at the moment then? Oh, speaking of sport, are you into rugby at all & have you been watching any of that recently?
Yeah, the new Big Top 40 rule change is weird. Basically, remember it used to have "lockdown" at 6pm every Sunday? Well that's gone now. The Top 10 was purely based on iTunes like you said, while 11-40 were always based on a combination of downloads & airplay.
Now the entire chart is compiled by: iTunes, streaming & airplay of those stations that broadcast the show, so we can't "change the chart" while the show is on air anymore.
That still wouldn't explain why 'Gorgeous' hit #1 though, since it only got to #2 on iTunes (& certainly wasn't the best selling song of the week), while it had weaker streaming & airplay, so why that topped the charts still remains a bit of mystery.
Yeah, of course I'll send you the link! Did you check out my review of 'Reputation' by the way? I'm on Billboard a lot more often than Official Charts, so I often post my reviews & lists there first.
Well good luck with those results! With me, I've only got one result back so far, but I should have another three returned by Christmas. In the one that I did get back, I got 70% in it, which I'm very happy with!

City are winning 2-1 lol ;)
ive no clue why they had to change it, as Capital always play the same old songs on repeat it seems, so now far fewer unknown new entries can enter! that means the big top 40 will have literally no impact on my charts then lol.
i haven't checked your review yet, as id prefer to hear the album first. it is on Spotify now right? :)
well done with that 70%! i hope i can get that in my mocks lol :)

Haha, not too surprised with the score to be honest!
Yeah, also with Capital, their idea of a throwback are songs that were released at the start of this decade so example, e.g. 'We Found Love' or 'Give Me Everything' & not true throwbacks like from the 80s or 90s. That said, they don't seem to have those on after the Big Top 40 anymore either.
I think 'Reputation' is finally available on Spotify now!
Thanks, I hope you get a score like that (or maybe even higher) in your mocks too.

Great to see 'Havana' get a 3rd week at #1 on your chart; hopefully it can get more as you continue to update your charts and get up to date. :D Great to see Camila have so many entries in the chart again this week. As for the debuts , I'm not a huge fan of 'Heavy', but quite like 'Stargazing', 'I Fall Apart', 'Young Dumb & Broke' and 'Little Bit Leave It'. I was also reading through you and Piran's conversation, and I was also really confused when 'Gorgeous' was #1 on the Big Top 40 instead of 'Havana'. I'm pretty sure it was on a chart where 'Gorgeous' had only been out for 2 days as well, and since 'Gorgeous' was behind 'Havana' in all 3 categories for both of those days and 'Havana' will've had a huge lead because of the rest of the week, I really don't know how 'Gorgeous' managed to get to #1. I don't really trust the Big Top 40 if I'm being honest. I'm not saying that they purposely manipulated the chart, but they really need to sort out their chart as it really doesn't make sense most of the time. Anyway, great chart as always and I'm looking forward to seeing the others as we go towards Christmas!

Hey GamesKiller01, thanks for the comment! yeah, I used to listen to the Big Top 40 as it was interesting and gave lots of new entries for my chart, but now I cant really be bothered with it tbh as its so biased to old songs and nothing new really enters now. I'm gonna try and put up another tonight if ive the chance, so I hope you can check that out! :)

Yeah I don't really listen to it anymore either. But that's not really important now; please tell me you've heard the news?

Camila's debut album! Out January 12th, pre-orders go up this Thursday (Dec 7) and 2 new tracks get released this Thursday as well, 'Never Be The Same' and 'Real Friends', possibly only for people who pre-order the album, not entirely sure.

Yeah I did hear about that, its great!! although its quite a long wait, it seems this is more her direction and what she wanted to do, so I cant wait! and I really do hope we get those two tracks as new singles; Camila is overdue a new single - apart from Havana remix, she hasn't released one since July! i wonder how well the album will do... if single success is anything to go by, with three top 15 tracks already, it should do really well i hope!
oh and by the way, my latest chart is just up this minute! speak to you soon! :D

A good chart once again Calum! Great to see 'Havana' at #1 for a third week! Great to see gainers from : 'What Lovers Do' and 'Finders Keepers'! Now rating your new entries : Heavy (6/10), Stargazing (7/10), I Fall Apart (6/10), Young Dumb & Broke (8/10) and Little Bit Leave It (0/10). A good chart except for that one song! Hopefully you can catch up on charts. See you soon!
P.S. I saw you listening to 'DNA' earlier this week ;) If it hit OCC Top 40 or Vodafone Big Top 40 would it chart on your chart? ;)

Hey Tom, thanks for the comment! I'm glad you liked most of my new entries! I'm not really much of a fan of Little Bit Leave It now, but I know I was at the time so it got in. It wont stay in very long tho dw ;)
well, as for DNA, yeah, I was listening to the Mic Drop remix then I decided to listen to DNA after as I hadn't heard it for a while and remembered liking it. Id say itd have a chance of getting in, but wouldn't be that high up. but, given its been and gone out of the uk top 100, its chances are very low unfortunately. :(
see you soon, and my next chart will be coming hopefully today! :D

Hey, I love the fact Havana got a third week at #1 on your chart, it has spent the same amount of time on the top of mine. Also, I can't say I dislike any track on your top, except for Heartline which it's just generic for me. My favorite tracks on your top 40 are Lonely Together, No Promises, Finders Keepers, Perfect, Shed A Light and New Rules. As for your new entries here's my score for the ones I've heard of: Heavy (6/10); Stargazing (7/10), I Fall Apart (5/10); Young Dumb & Broke (7/10). Have a good week!

Hey Ines, I'm glad you liked my chart! yeah, well, Havana may stay at #1 a few more weeks yet ;) although nowhere near Bad Things' 15; I doubt anything will get anywhere near that anytime soon.
I hope you've had a good week, and I hope you can check out my next chart when I upload it - hopefully tonight!
I am going to try very hard to catch up by Christmas, but after then it will only be one chart a week ;) speak to you soon!
