Dutch singers Snelle and Maan enter a fourth consecutive week at Number 1 with their single “Blijven Slapen”. The two remain atop the chart very steadily, aided by big streaming numbers and playlisting. The two face competition from another Dutch act: Suzan & Freek. The couple-turned-singers have been a mainstay act for quite some time now, since their 2018-hit “Als Het Avond Is” shot to the top of the Top 40. Suzan & Freek aim for Number 1 with “Goud” this week, which is also become another national success. Kylie Minogue and Dua Lipa close out the Top 3 with “Real Groove (Remix)”, which steadily remains at Number 3.
Justin Bieber enters the Top 10 with “Peaches” featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon, from his successful new album “Justice”. The song marks Bieber his nineteenth Top 10-entry, following big successes such as “Sorry”, “Boyfriend” and “Love Yourself”. He is not alone on the track, as Daniel Caesar and Giveon earn their first Top 10-entry with “Peaches”. The new hit peaks at Number 9 this week.
At Number 10, Tom Grennan makes his Top 10-debut with “Little Bit of Love”. The British singer found success as a frequent performer on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and as a feature on Chase & Status’s “All Goes Wrong”. This year, Grennan earned bigger success with his second studio album Evering Road, which debuted at Number 1 on the Official UK Charts. This week, the album its fourth single “Little Bit of Love” becomes Tom Grennan his first Top 10-hit on my chart following last week its top debut.
The highest debut of the week is claimed by Olivia Rodrigo her newest song “Déjà Vu”. The new single follows the monster hit “drivers license”, which peaked at Number 1 earlier this year and was certified double-platinum last week. Such a big hit is a tough hit to follow, but not impossible. With her newest song “Déjà Vu”, Olivia tries to prove she is not a one-hit-wonder and shows she has many more tricks up her sleeve. The new single debuts at Number 20 this week.
Three other songs enter the Top 40 this week. While he claims his first Top 10-hit with “Peaches” along Justin Bieber, Giveon quickly earns his second entry on my chart with “Heartbreak Anniversary”. The acclaimed song is becoming a worldwide hit at the moment. The song enters at Number 27 this week. A bit further down, Dutch group Chef’Special enter at Number 33 with “Afraid of the Dark”. The song is already becoming a big hit on Ducth radio stations and is gaining streams steadily on Spotify. Nearly closing off the list, Bebe Rexha debuts at Number 39 with the disco-inspired “Sacrifice”.
This week, 15 years ago, British hit-girl group the Sugababes reached Number 1 with “Red Dress”, their first single to not feature Mutya Buena. To honour to occasion, I’ve decided to look back at that week’s chart today. On April 7th, 2006, the Sugababes beat Sean Paul in a close race to the tap, earning the girls their fifth and final Number 1 on my chart. Sean Paul previously held the top position with the modern classic “Temperature”. Corinne Bailey Rae climbed into the Top 3 with her acclaimed breakout single “Put Your Records On”, while further down in the Top 10 Dutch Idols-winner Raffaëla entered the Top 10 with her winning song “Right Here, Right Now”. Mary J. Blige entered the list at Number 8 with “One” featuring U2, which would went on to become a Number 1 and Mary J.’s biggest hit of all time. Hey Link! It's fantastic that "Blijven Slapen" is still at #1. I'm curious if Suzan & Freek can come close to take over. In my opinion it's their best song since "Als Het Avond Is". I see four great debuts especially "Deja vu". I'm sure Olivia is not a one hit wonder. Have a great week!

Hey Link! Great chart as always! I'm really loving the climbs for 'BED', 'Leave the Door Open', 'Peaches' and 'Little Bit of Love' in the Top 10 and 'Hold On' and 'MONTERO' in the Top 20! It's also really cool to see Olivia Rodrigo get a Top 20 debut with 'deja vu'! Do you think it'll do as well as 'drivers license' here? I sure hope so! Have a great week ahead! :D

Impressive stuff here. Like the new peaks for BED,Leave the door open, and particularly huge jump into top 10 Peaches. Astronaut in the ocean has just grown on me such a good production there ...I'm happy to see Deja vu such a good indie pop song she's not one hit wonder looking forward to her album. Heartbreak anniversary is new #27 that's good I fell in love with it the time it was released I'm glad it getting all the attention it deserved it peaked #2 last year for me but rebounded to number it's one of the 2021 hits Essentials for me. That was a fair song by Bebe Rexha. My chart is out too,
