Emails sent from the website are now working. If you are unable to log in and can't fix it by resetting your password, please contact us. Thanks for your patience!

File storage is being moved and upgraded to a new service. We are aware of recent uploads failing to display on the website, and are working to implement a fix. Thank you!

How to comment and/or receive comment reply notifications

Logged-in Crownnote users can leave comments on charts, Crown 100 charts, and news items, and can reply to others' comments.

Your comment can be formatted using the editing tools in the toolbar above the comment box. Text can be emboldened, italicized, or struck through; links, bulleted and numbered lists, and other formatting options are available.

Before posting your comment, you can choose whether or not to be notified via email if new comments are posted on the same content. If you choose to receive notifications, you can further select whether to be notified for all comments, or just replies to your own comment.

When leaving a comment, the author of the content will receive a notification. If you reply to a comment, the author of the original comment, as well as anyone who has subscribed to notifications for all comments on the content, will receive a notification.

For your own charts, you can choose your own notification preferences if another Crownnote user comments on your chart. Edit your user profile and navigate to the Site Preferences tab, then choose whether or not to receive notification emails for your charts, and the default behavior for additional replies to your own comments on Crownnote.

Comments are visible to the public, including logged-out visitors.
